Nice updates! Speaking of arcade love, I ordered a partially working Air Buster board. Planning to fix it, and maybe send it Jotego's way if he's up for it. Haven't asked yet. Thought I'd get it into functional shape first. One of my favorite shooters, and it would be cool to see it FPGAed.

@@VideoGameEsoterica True! There also doesn't seem to be a lot of information on the Kaneko Pandora VDP chip. (If I remember correctly it may also be used in some Jaleco games or something like that.) It's kind of an interesting board, and the game is a blast! (a bit difficult on the last couple of levels, but overall one of my favorites).

It's the arcade boards that makes me apprehensive about Mars. I'm not going to spend $1000 (Canadian) on another FPGA system. I _could_ but I'm simply not going to. If it succeeds, it's going to take devs off MiSTer projects. It wouldn't be so bad if the Mars guys weren't going with keeping Mars cores exclusive. Never mind their community shenanigans.

I think let the economics take care of that one, once the ~$100 Mister clone is released, it will be hard to justify a $700 to $1,000 competitor, especially without a concrete showing of functional cores

I assumed my Saturn needed new capacitors due to the blurry image I was getting. Luckily, it was just the wrong setting and it looks more-or-less the same as MISTer now. My Dreamcast was repaired, the motherboard died for some reason. Cost me about $130.

A suggestion: I’ve never authored a video on KZbin, so I don’t know how hard it would be to add the names of the cores when you talk about them. Some are easy and obvious (Simpsons), but others are more difficult to get if you are not familiar with them. Thanks!
