Back in September 2015, I drove over to Latrobe, Pennsylvania to visit Unity Cemetery and the mausoleum where he was laid to rest. You can't get inside, but you can look through the door, and he's just inside on the left. I was talking to him just like he used to talk to us through the camera. It was really hot and humid that day, and at one point, I said out loud that it was really hot and that I might need to cut my visit short. Right as soon as I said that, the wind changed direction and turned nice and cool. Needless to say, I believe he was with me that day on my visit.

Glad you liked the jazzy expressive piano music. The pianist, or one of them, was the music director for a summerstock theatre I acted and I wrote a children's show, Beema Zomp! for: Kearsarge Theatre, Warner, NH. He taught me to breathe, so to speak. During much of the year, he composed and improvised the Mt. Roger's piano accompaniment, much like keyboardists did for 'silent' movies.

Yet another fantastic video you presented. I was born in 1965, and watched Mr Rogers' Neighborhood (as well as the other PBS programming). Fred Rogers was a very kind, caring, and wise man. His manner was very positive and uplifting. He was also an incredible gentleman. His teachings were wonderful things - which are important in the hustle-bustle (and crankiness) of today's society. It was interesting seeing the sets as they were built, but the ending of your video was incredible. Although I have seen his Golden Globe award speech before, I was suddenly drawn in as if he was speaking at that moment, listened and followed what he said to the audience. My thoughts went directly to my mom (living) , and especially my dad who left this world 4 years ago (5/25/2014). It was at the point where he said (to paraphrase) "...those people that you were thinking about are proud of you for who you are and what you became..." It was at that point where my emotions flooded me, and "saw" my dad smiling at me. Thank You again for presenting this video and including his speech. This video couldn't have been better any other way. Bravo.
