I was there too!!!! As soon as The Beatles walked out on the field I could not believe my eyes... it was to die for!!!! I had the best time of my life. I also saw The Beatles once again when they played at the Chicago Amphitheater. Wouldn't have missed it for the world!!!!! I have lots of good memories from all this which I'll never ever forget. Four young lads that shook the world and brought a lot of joy to all of us!!!! Long Live The Beatles!!!!!!🎶💞🎶💞 Peace and Love✌💝

I was there with my Dad. He got tickets because the company that he worked for in Mansfield, Ohio was owned by the same company that owned the White Sox. It was an unbelievable experience to see The Beatles, and in retrospect it was priceless to have experienced it with my Dad.

I was there - NON STOP SCREAMING for almost 2 hours! - Even BEFORE they came out. For the record, I DID NOT Scream - I was 15 - but I'll NEVER forget it. The screaming was UNREAL - cuz it never stopped - you could NOT hear them - like you can hear on this tape.

They could have turned off their amps and it would have hardly made a difference. What was it with all these girls screaming and drowning out the very band they supposedly came to hear? I'm struck by the small size and simplicity of the stage. Compare it to the BUILDING that Rammstein's current tour brings along with them, which takes six days to set up by teams of trained professionals.

Great Stuff. Great quality and interesting view points from the different footage. A whole 6 minutes of The Beatles just in Chicago in 1965, great and wonderful. Only chicago and not just a little footage from here or there to make it one whole song.

The ball park is now sadly gone.Tore down for another park with more seating but there was something cool about comiskey.For one thing the Beatles played there.I knew someone who seen the show.Said he couldn't hear a thing except the screams.

+Danny Dine ~ I only went there once, though I was born on the south side. I think when I went there it was the last year before being torn down. Carlton Fisk hit a home run near me, and an outfielder named Ivan Calderon made a great catch in the outfield. Worthy of mention is that unlike today, to get tickets to see the Beatles was near-impossible. There was no Ticketmaser, so likely almost everyone at their U.S. shows lived in the cities where they played. Looking back on it, it is great that girls went to such great efforts to see them. I'm sure it changed their lives in ways that are still being felt. That was almost 51 years ago, so the ones that are still around would be in their mid-60s, some older, some younger.

Old Comiskey was bigger than whatever the new park is called. It was a great old place and when it was closed was the oldest park in baseball, pre-dating Wrigley and Fenway.

Bobby, I was at the evening show. Both shows had empty seats. Unlike Shea Stadium (which sold all of the seats in the park), in Chicago, they only sold seats from 3rd base (where I was), thru first base. Half the park was empty. They didn't have the monster sound systems they have today. You couldn't heard anything; just some of the bass coming thru, so you know what they were playing. It was incredible.

BobbyD Did they open up the seats behind the stage for the evening show? Because I went to the afternoon one, and they did not. This was before the days when you paid hundreds of bucks to watch someone on a tv screen, or see them from the back. I was lucky-especially compared to the show I attended in Cincinnati the year before...They did feed the music through those little rinkydink baseball speakers, and we were sitting under one

My buddies and friends were there, including my stepmother, the only person old enough to have a driver’s license and could bring us! The opening acts were interminable, but all hell broke loose when the final set change at last revealed the iconic “The Beatles” on the bass drum, as the Beatles themselves soon walked out from the third base dugout to complete pandemonium in the stands. The screaming never stopped, only subsiding occasionally for a few moments when my buddies and I could hear a few notes and recognize what song they must be playing and which we couldn’t otherwise hear. It was not a concert-it was a religious experience for tens of thousands of girls who were probably hoarse for two days afterwards! But it was a real treat to see the Beatles in person, for my buddies and me who, like millions of other teens, had a garage band to follow in the Beatles’ footsteps.

How did Ringo keep time ??? He couldn't have heard a single note sat up there at the back with all that crowd noise !!?? Poor Ring !! Although I'm sure the screaming helped keep the adrenalin-a-pumping (along with the 'Purple Hearts')... which in turn - probably helped him keep superb timing - well, there ya go !! There were no losers at a Beatle Show - only winners.. Winners galore !! Hey Ho & Happy Days !! Peace !! Rxx

Nico Panico I EXPECTED you to upload it at the correct aspect ratio doofus and at standard-def if that what your source footage was. Try again.
@derekgee
@derekgee 8 жыл бұрын
Nico Panico Dude, the image is all stretched out because you edited/uploaded at 16:9 when it's 3:4 aspect ratio. You clearly have NO flippin' idea what you're doing. Incidently, it doesn't matter if it's from 1965 - it was shot on 16mm film which can easily be scanned at up to 4K resolution. Next time just don't bother if you don't know what you're doing.

Robert Moore Need the source files to fix without adding artifacts to the image. Plus, it's not my job to fix other dimwits' mistakes. I'm angry because this joker posts this shit in the Beatles forum on FB and it looks like garbage. Do it right or don't do it at all.
