So the rule for +4 is that you can only play it if you don't have the right colored card, so suppose red card is being played and if you have a red card but still play +4, the opponent can challenge you to see if you actually have red or not and if you do you lose the challenge and you have to pick up +4

the plus 4 challenge means you can’t put it down if you had the original color that was being played. if you put down the plus 4 and you have red and the color is red and someone challenges you, you pick up cards. if you don’t have the color for example red, you can put it down and if you they challenge you they pick up cards. anyways hope this was useful for y’all.

BTW A challenge in uno is when you suspect someone has played a +4 card illegally the you may challenge them and the person who has been challenged must show his/her cards,If the challenge person is guilty they gain 4 Cards if they are innocent then the person who challenged gains 6 cards

The rule with the challange is that if you have the color on the deck, and then put down a plus four, if someone challenges, it means their challenging to see if you have the colors that are put down. For example, it's green, and you put down a plus four, but you have a green, you'd lose the challenge. However if you don't have green, you win. Hope this helps and isn't confusing!

CHALLENGE is used to check if the person who placed the + 4 has the same colour cards as the card before the person placed the + 4 so if there is a green 5 and u do + 4 after but u have green in ur deck then if the person challenges you then you pick up 4 So yea i hope u understood

When you challenge a +4, you're thinking the one who played it has the color that it was before it was changed on the +4. For example, if it was blue and someone turns it to green from a +4, someone could challenge it. If the one who played it doesn't have the blue, then the target of the +4 loses the challenge and draws 6. If the one who played it does have the blue, the target wins the challenge and the one who played it would draw the 4.
