I make my own straps with two inch wide strip for the cord string. It's more economical and it won’t fray. I watched your tutorial to learn how to insert a zipper pocket. I want to add it to my backpacks. I love the french seam too. Love all my KZbin teachers. Thank you.

Perfect gift for everyone! I gotta tell you this... I decided to watch this “big” - I put you up on my big tv and as I sat on the floor looking up and watching my 18 year old son walks through- he said I look like a kid watching my favorite show! ☺️ I was watching my favorite!!!💕

Great tips and tutorial. A bodkin will make putting the cord through the "pocket" so much easier than the safety pin. It's my new favorite tool!! (Sarah at Sew Sweetness gave me the idea)

I bought Wonder tape because of your videos. I've been sewing for YEARS and never knew this was even a thing. Sadly, I can't find 1/4 inch Wonder tape locally, only larger widths. Guess I'll just have to order online! I just love your tutorials and your positivity.

A tip that I do when inserting a drawstring. I like to use a wide tube plastic drinking straw. Run the straw in your drawstring channel. Then run the string through the inside the drinking straw. No fabric restance or safety pin sticking to the fabric. Remove drinking straw from drawstring channel. Leaving the drawstring in the fabric channel. Ta da !!! Easy Peasy. A narrow pumming pipe could work too. Instead of drinking straw.👨‍🔧

Awesome 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I thank you 🙏 for this creative tuto Mister Domestic ! I subscribed to your channel since last xmas🎅 then used to follow your activities👩‍💻 .In fact, I didn't grab any knowledges 🤷‍♀️ in sewing yet but I will start to learn seam's rudiments with a known professional who provides course 💁🏼‍♀️ from September 🍂 and I hope 🧞‍♀️ I will be able once to do the items that you tremendously make 🏆 Anyway, I am delighted with the idea to realise fabrics goodies by my own and I very look forward to start the teaching ! I saw that you have maybe/ possibly a bamboo cutting board under your wool pressing mat... is that to protect your cutting board from the heat under your pressing mat? If so ingenious! BTW, another great tutorial. I’m going to try this later.

If you use a wooden skewer from like the dollar store, the long ones and tape the cord to it. First insert the skewer tape cord to it and pull

Yes, I was wondering about this, also. My Pfaff is not user friendly in tension adjusting, you can do it, but it doesn't recommend doing it.
