I love how they are remastered nicely too. Good sound, as clean visuals as it can be. Seeing all the low-quality textures (compared to some games nowadays). ;)

Damn, love those RE Outbreak gameplays. They never get old. Thinking about getting the game for my PC and trying some online stuff, seems fun as hell.

Same here, but I am intimidated of how good these players are and how they can predict that lag or warp. I played offline on PS2 a lot (Both of them) and well bots are bots. I am curious how "activate" it is an lenient on players. (I wish I could make the bots invulnerable and add the 3rd bot) but I couldn't beat it in anything higher than normal although hard mode was beatable in a few stages. I'm utterly crap.

@@Xaibis looks like they play so much they can predict all enemy patterns. Game is very challenging on higher difficulties due to AI dumbness, but playing with a team that knows what to do is much easier. I used to practice a lot on PS2, solo missions make you save every ammo you get and abuse melees and dodge.

As much as I hate to disable the bots you may be right in that they make it harder for you and solo mission is actually preferable, to learn the dodge mechanic and abuse it. Honestly that sounds like a far better way to learn. I had a lot of patient with the dumb bots but they sure do some of the basic dumb things that they should know/programmed Not to do.

I remember there was a Capcom voting survey for what was you favourite RE game and it the had all of games including the garbage ones like ORC and Umbrella Corps but no Outbreak and Outbreak 2? I find that very disheartening.

heard there were creative differences with capcom and capcom eu that's why resident evil resistance was the only game they developed just to remind us of outbreak. Good game but it just can't beat the classics!

@@AcherRollz possibly. But I do like how they take it to the bad guy side of umbrella just like resident evil 6 you can play as monsters; but in resistance they show another type of monster working the facilities.

I liiked how you could play as NPCs that were one-time or killed. It made it feel meta when you ran into them as themselves. XD Also, fight with them, Cindy!

This is amazing! The new camera angles work so much better! Would be interesting to see if Outbreak could be modded to have a camera similar to RE4, based on this the environments seem fully modelled (nothing missing to account for it never being in an existing camera angle).

Is there a way to play through to your PS2 via hook up on the Internet online? (besides the x-link Kai that was rumored to work but was sheer garbage)

Pretty sure you can on a modified PS2 and reroute it to connect over to obsrv as I've seen people using a physical console on the forums.

@@miragespl I can check out obsrv but the hardest part now is finding a place that still modifies ps2's! most of the game shops that did such had fallen off the map (even before this damn pandemic) I know chinatown NYC may have spots, but I'm not in a rush to quarrantine my self just to get a mod extension on my device. but thx though!

@@dr.distortionjqg Yeah, I'd assume it would be really difficult now for a hard mod. All I find these days are the FreeMcBoot one and I don't think that's the one you're after. Good luck with your hunt!
