5 Things I Hate About My Kia Stinger

For me, the owner of a 2022 AWD Stinger GT2 is as follows. (no particular order) 1.) Road / Cabin noise could be better 2.) Seat comfort - it's to be expected in a sports sedan with sport seats. 3.) Turbo lag from a 50 to 60 roll 4.) Getting in and out of the seats, front and back. 5.) Launch control - 2,000 rpm's is too low, Needs to be around 4,000 rpms. Most likely set that way for 100,000 mile warranty. And let me say this as well, this is me just trying to find things wrong with it. I love this car and would recommend anyone buying one. 👍

I had a feeling you would have mentioned the odd side rear reflectors that seem to have been slapped on as an afterthought. It seems you had them painted to match the car color, how did you go about having that done?

Honestly I live in Michigan and as most people know we have notoriously bad roads. I drove a Subaru Impreza before this and ky wife drives an XT5. As for road noise I would say leaps and bounds ahead of the impreza and about on par with the XT5. Honestly go test drive one to be sure, but I am very happy with the ride.

Honestly I have not scraped on a daily driving basis in over a year. I dont avoid streets, speed bumps, etc I just drive and have been fine. Maybe pushes a little michigan snow here and there, but did fine there too.

Not even luxury, I have a 2021 Honda Accord Touring and it has key 1 / key 2 that automatically adjust settings/features and the seat based on the key that enters the car. But I also have a Kia Stinger and I love it more 😂

glad those are only minor ;) and happy the screen doesn't retract, it's expensive to repair (ahem A6). new face-lift got a bigger screen. I wish they could electrify Stinger too. nice car 👍
