Thank you for a great video. I am not a newbie but I like watching to see if someone has something I have not heard of or to point out something I have learned already to help others. I too am 79 years young . To stamp off your card you can use the 2 corner inside each other to raise the card and bring it in. I would suggest when using the corners with the magnet not to use the cricut joy mat as it is to thick for the magnets which is why it didn’t hold good. I too use the mat as well. What I also did was I have a cheap laminator and laminated the grid paper . This way you can use it over and over just wiping it. I have a conditon to my hands called Dupuytren’s Contracture and I do not fuzzy cut instead I have a brother scan n cut. So I just scan in the paper and it will cut out what ever I need cut and without or with any size boarder even prints on cardstock etc. you can even save the cut out shapes then resize even bigger. No computer is needed to use but can be to do more. Only cut out machine with a scanner. I have the cricut maker3 and the Silhouette. Stampers love the brother for this reason as no dies are needed. I have those machines as well but who wants to spend money if not needed. The brother needs a line to follow to cut so if the line is broken you draw it to connect in pencil then after cut you erase with a white eraser as that won’t leave a mark.. sorry I went on so much but if it help others it is worth it. This was actually very helpful and I wish I had seen this after I first purchased my Misti because I would’ve used the cricut joy mat hack. I ended up buying an extra grip mat to go in my Misti. Had I seen that with the cricut joy mat I would not have bought grip mat. This is very very informative, and it was also helpful seeing the tools that you were using the angle and the T tool very helpful. Thank you so much.

Dang...it's taken me all day to watch this video😅 those darn responsibilities kept getting in the way😆 I bought the misti a few months ago, just before the pretty pink one came out😥and have only used it one time, a little pricey but it looked like it was worth it in the long run. Perfect timing on your video!!! 1. What are you using to wipe the stamps clean? 2. I had NO IDEA you could use the back of the platform as a tool too!!! 3. Great tip on using a whole sheet of stickers at one time! 4. And the tip of using the door in reverse for larger sheets of stamps 😱great tip!!! 5. The use of acetate, again briliant! Oh and the Cricut Joy mat...great idea!!! I watched many videos about this tool before buying it, still unsure if I'd get the hang of it...your video was by far the best learning tool. Again, thank you for all that you do!!! I wish I could do in person classes with you, but KZbin is a great option for reaching all of us all over the world!!!!!

I am happy to answer questions any time. Maybe one of these days, we can do a Zoom class! I just use a microfiber rag or a baby wipe to clean off the stamps. I played with mine for a few hours and have a PILE of image to color now. You might get that coloring video after all. It was years of me wanting one of these. The price kept me from following through. I didn't want it to just sit in the pile unused with all the stamps and dies. I'm determined to make it worth the investment. So far, I am in love with it!

I just wipe them down with a microfiber towel. If they have a little more color, I might use a baby wipe.

Thank you for this video! I bought a "generic" stamping platform that looks just like the Misti but I'm so afraid to use it. This has given me the courage to give it a try. I have so many stamps that I gave up on because I hate it when they are crooked 😀I didn't know when to use the pad and when not to, so thanks for that! Do you ever just stamp on a card front, or do you always cut out your stamped images? Just curious. Thanks again!!

Before having a stamping platform, I would NEVER stamp just on a card front. Usually, my stamps weren't crisp enough, straight enough, or I wouldn't want to mess them up with other things. Now, I would definitely just stamp on a card front.
