I’m currently investing in my own little wood shop tools...finally and don’t have much budget for big bad table saws and the like...these little budget friendly jigs are amazing and I WILL be making this one.....although I’ll be adding a 22.5* miter as well....gosh this is crazy simple 👍🏼👍🏼

Ich bin immer wieder begeistert wenn man aus Abfall was basteln kann. Auf diese weise habe ich selber schon viel gebastelt. Auch diese Führung werde ich nachbauen. Die Teile dazu habe ich und du bestimmt in der Werkstatt rumliegen. Kaufen würde unnötig Geld kosten. Von mir 100 Punkte :-) weil dabei auch an die Umwelt gedacht wird! LG Ralf

Great and simple no-nonsense design. Is there a similar simple design to do bevel cuts as well? Then this would be a complete replacement for a miter saw.

I've made a similar accessory but yours is better: metal guides are thin and save cut depth (I've used wood bars and they eat about 10mm of cut depth). Thanks for your videos, they are awesome!

Great tool, I made one following this basic pattern, and it's so easy to use! There are problems however! 1. Aluminum sole plate on the saw cannot run against aluminum angles. They gall and grab in a short time, and it's impossible to push the saw. You must use HDPE tape on the channel to prevent galling. 2. Aluminum "L" channels are too flimsy. You must use slightly heavier channels or double to make "T" channels, or they will move when you push the saw. 3. Do not expect perfectly square cuts if squared with a small combination square. Use a large framing square, and even then, it won't be perfect on wider boards. (though it may be "close enough". )
