Another fun fact about this is Tim was in the Cayman Islands and Peter was in Oregon when they did this. This whole song sounds like Gregorian monks chanting, which gives it that ancient vibe.

This is my favorite version of this song (not a fan of Geoff). The contrast in voices is beautiful. Peter in the higher tenor ranges & then paired with the true natural bass voice of Tim. And that last dragon's breath note is truly remarkable & how long he sustains it. Peter is a master at layering voices. I think this one is about 120 layers. Peter & Tim have collaborated on quite a few other songs & they are all beautiful. "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Greensleeves", "Fire & Rain", "Sunshine On My Shoulders", "Teach Your Children", "You Can Close Your Eyes", "And So It Goes", "Blackbird", "You've Got A Friend".

I don’t know how I missed this but I’m here now. Love this. It’s awesome and Peter is a master of layering. Tim was in the Cayman Islands and Peter was in Oregon so not even in the same place. If you watch Tim at the end you will see the camera shake….man! They have so many collaborations that they made an album together…Beautiful Duets. Greensleeves, And So It Goes, Bridge Over Troubled Water are some of my favorites. Good one Yuri!

Peter Hollins and Tim of Home Free did a beautiful job on this song. Peter has a great voice. Tim is my favorite bass singer of Home Free. At the end of this song Tim goes low.😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Someone in your livestream probably told you, but…Hearth is technically the special flooring right in front of a fireplace. A typical American one would be constructed of brick, about 3-8 inches high and is about 12 inches deep (from the front of the fireplace to the regular flooring). Its meaning in the song is “home.” Hearth and home is a common usage for comfort. Some of those really high notes could have come from Tim, too. Thanks, Yuri!

Peter has a way of layering tracks that is unbelievable. I'd like to see Peter Hollens and Lindsey Stirling collaborate again. They did quite a few collabs together like "Skyrim", a "Star Wars Medley", and "Game of Thrones" just off the top of my head.
