Peter's version is a bit more upbeat and has me smiling, while Home Free's is more sentimental and if I watch the video, brings tears to my eyes every time. Both are worth watching. Thank you again for the very enjoyable reaction. ^_^

Everytime I hear Home Frees version of this song it reminds me of my parents and it makes me tear up. They've been married for nearly 54 years (it will be 54 on Dec. 7th) and together since they were in school. It's a sweet song and the couple just remind me of my parents. Thanks for the reaction!

Some people do a wedding vow renewal on milestone years of their marriage.💕 I threw a surprise wedding vow renewal for my sister and her husband on their 25th wedding anniversary. mostly because she had always wanted a formal wedding as they had wed at the city courthouse in the beginning. She was so surprised and said it was the best day if her life. This was a teary reminder for me as they have both passed now.😢 But it was a great memory.👩‍❤️‍👨 💕💞💕

Sweet video. 😊 Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, is a very popular vacation destination on the Atlantic Ocean coast. (East Coast). My take is that the couple (at age 19) met there while on vacation and had a whirlwind romance and that this was a wedding vow renewal. In The States, either a judge (secular) or a religious leader (priest, minister, rabbi, etc) can officiate a wedding. (Each state has its own laws governing weddings.)

There are a fair number of folks who hold a ceremony to renew their wedding vows. My son attended one a couple of weeks ago-I was really curious about it because he’s only 27! He assured me that the couple was almost ten years older than he is. It’s great to see your hair down!

The video on Peter Hollens' channel is the same song but is a completely different take on the song--both videos are fabulous❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (I was hoping you might react to both of them 😉) The "19" of the lyrics is talking about the couple's past (the years of their youth) being back in the previous century. Many people "renew" their vows on significant anniversaries--a lovely tradition ❤️ #HomeFree #PeterHollens

The videos for this song are different on HFs & Peter Hollens channels (yup - 2 different videos). However, each is just as good as the other. They always sound sooo good together! I'm not sure if you've seen Peter Hollens & Tim Fousts duets of "Green Sleeves" & "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Their collaboration of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is terrific!

It's called a renewal of your vows. The video on Peter's channel is different with the same song. The very first time i watched this i thought that her husband died also. I was so very happy that he hadn't. My husband and I did a vow renewal on our 20th anniversary. We have been together for 50 years and married 43 years this Nov. I enjoy watching your reaction to these guys.

The person who does weddings is an Officiant.Married couples sometimes renew their vows when they reach a milestone year like 10,20,30 etc The video on Peter Hollens channel is the same song but the video is very different not a romantic one like this
