Thinking about picking one of these up today. If i do get a 3/4 would you recommend this for 99 over an ibanez gio mikro used for 119/new for 129?

Man, that's a tough one... I realize my experience with this guitar hasn't been everyone's, but having never played a "bad" Ibanez, my leaning would be toward the Mikro. Especially if I couldn't play either of them beforehand. (mail-order) I've only played the Mikro basses and was impressed with the 4 strings but returned the 5 due to quality issues. Ibanez's consistency is hard to beat in my experience. IF you can play them (you're going into GC), play them all. Every one of them. Aggravate the salesmen if you have to! LOL Play them till one "agrees" with you. Keep in mind the strings might not be the ones you want, or the necks can be adjusted etc. There's nothing like being able to put hands on before you lay out your hard-earned money, and even free returns are a hassle.
