I'm going to be 110% real with you guys: Please dont play Stalcraft. The biggest problem is the non-con PvP, where all the high level trolls just spawncamp farm new players, resulting in a horrifically bad new user experience. If you want STALKER, just play Anomaly.

Comedy games that try to actually be funny whilst also attempting to be fun to play are definitely the best. Good parodies can be born from hate, but the best ones are made with love. Ive seen so many games try to parody other genres and they all the same “lets reference this thing but not actually try anything different or do anything interesting with it” mindset. Nostalgaia pokes fun at the soulsborne way while also embracing its roots. Brilliant stuff as always mitch 💙

There's a PS2 RPG The Bards Tale that has the same sort of style: snarky narrators taking the mickey - there's a scene where the main character kills a couple of wolves and loots their bodies to find a large quantity of gold weapons and armour, the narrator asks why do the wolves have this

As someone who started as a caster in Nostalgaia from the word "Go", the homing pixel is the strongest spell you can find in the game. And you can either purchase it from the vendor or start with it, if you start as a sourcemancer. And, to be frank, the poison knife and homing pixels are the only spells I found useful for the entire game. Sadly, I saw you did not buy it whenever you had the shop keepers inventory screen open. I did try some other spells but they were too weak for the damage they could inflict for for what they offered or just too expensive. The Homing Pixels could deal a lot of damage at the cost of one source. One or two shotting enemies never felt better. As for magic damage with weapons, I found the Sword of service infused with soiurce material makes up for the strongest magic scaling weapon in the base game. Before that, the Royal Epeen was a distant second but good enough until you hit Warlock's Wild. Personally, I enjoyed Nostalgaia a lot. But the hit boxes were literally hit or miss. Especially if the terrain was slightly elevated, you had a really bad time hitting a barn door. There is somethign wrong with the hit boxes that was never fixed. But not bad enough. You just learn to play around that problem at some point and move on.

if i played this game, this is the equipment i'd use (bear in mind, there's no site that lists ALL weapons): Haunted Knight set, Unburdened Sword, Shield of Inspiration. i want to play this game, i really want to... but there's a lack of dragon bosses. besides, in the 5:44 timestamp, that red curved sword, the Drake Sabre, is made of a dragon's wing. this means dragons exist in Nostalgaia, but... where are the dragons? this is my idea of introducing dragons into Nostalgaia: - the dragon enemy would be simply called the "Blue Dragon". it's effectively the blue dragon from Demon's Souls (original), but it's the size of the Drake from the Valley of Drakes from Dark Souls. it'd behave like the latter, but would breathe fire like the former. it'd reside in the castle level, as well as the treasure room (don't know the actual names). - the dragon boss would simply be called the "Red Dragon". it's meant to reference Grigori, from Dragon's Dogma. he'd be the final boss of a DLC which, for a lack of a better name, i have decided to call "the Dragon's Keep". the Dragon's Keep would be a large stone fortress on a forested mountain, filled with traps and enemies - including Blue Dragons, given the fortress' name. getting back to the Red Dragon, he'd be the most powerful dragon in Nostalgaia... who just wants to live in peace (delivered in a humouristic way): he'd have a wife and son; a black dragon and a purple dragon, respectively (since the topic of the DLC would be dragons, why not reference Minecraft again, and Spyro?). but the Red Dragon also longs for a good battle with a worthy opponent. his attacks would be powerful fire breath, teeth, claws, tail, and a few magic spells. once he is defeated (not killed), you'll earn new gear: the "Dragon Sword", the "Dragon Shield", and the "Dragon Scale" set, which would resemble Rathalos' SnS (Sword & Shield) and armour, as a reference to Monster Hunter. and the Red Dragon will congratulate you, and would add that he'll await you in New Game+. look, i just want an excuse to get me to play this game.

This was a very fun game, specially with the dlc. But like you mentioned the inability to teleport around and a very confusing map made the game a "finish and forget" kind of game and no desire to replay it. Which is unfortunate because I missed many bosses due to the cryptic npc questlines
