Grazie e complimenti
@domenicofusco15633 жыл бұрын
dimenticavo, prima di cambiare l'olio non si dovrebbe fare riscaldare lo scooter? e non sarebbe preferibile togliere l'asta del livello olio prima di scolare l'olio? comunque ancora complimenti

Pro tip: replace the copper seal at the same time (it costs almost nothing) and if the screw is already out, put a little new gear oil in so that the remains of the old fluid are flushed out. Otherwise everything was done perfectly!

After how many miles or kilometers the oil in the transmission is changed?
@Murat1982turkey2 жыл бұрын
Please help me.. I have 3 simple questions. 1. Do we drain all the old oil? Yes / no 2. How many cc of new oil do we add in total? How many 250/300/400/500? 3. How should the bar look when we check it on the bar? How do I know if I have filled in correctly or incorrectly, more or less? Please explain simply. 4. Do I need to start and stop the engine and check the rod again? Thank you Vespa gts 250 2013 years 30.000 km
@IceAge20017 Жыл бұрын
I can answer those. 1. Drain it all. There will be a little at the bottom of the gearbox that won't drain, but just unscrew the bold and wait until it stops dripping. That will get most of it. 2. The amount of oil will depend on the model of scooter you have, but it will be in the owners manual. 3. There will be min and max markings engraved on the dipstick. Just keep it between the lines. 4. You do not need to run the engine or ride the scooter. The level will be accurate as soon as you put it in.

Vespa manual says every 3000 miles i believe. I change mine every year even if I don't hit that mark. When you change your engine oil, change the gearbox oil too.

@robmurray37162 жыл бұрын
According to the owner`s manual and other youtube videos on the subject for the GTS 300, you have overfilled the transmission oil. ROBOT for example quotes only putting 150ml in, not 250ml and maximum level is the first mark past the dot on the bottom of the stick. Your thoughts?

Why do you use 75w90 instead of 80w90? I know 75w90 is full syntetic.
@teravolt61132 жыл бұрын
Either 75W90 or 80W90 is perfectly fine, it's the last number that really counts. I'm currently using Febi 32590 (semi synth 75W90 GL-5) in my 2007 LX 125's rear hub and can tell there's way less "engine braking" happening than with the old mineral Agip 80W90

Please always take a test drive to make sure that the oil does not foam. If so, there is not enough oil in the gearbox.

Which is top speed of Vespa gts ?
@andypeterson3070 Жыл бұрын
The 300 about 80 mph. The 125 about 65 mph. I have the 300 and I would highly recommend getting one. It has decent acceleration and mid-range torque for a Vespa. And would sit comfortably on the motorway all day at 65 mph cruising speed.
