yes this is a good idea. Also SERIOUSLY think about branching out from jewellery videos. It's obvious people enjoy the way you speak and express yourself, seeing as your top two videos are different ones from your normal videos (eg why i quit etsy/ how much money i made from youtube") You have a personable way of communicating which people are obviously resonating with. If you want to make the channel more financially viable I would try talking about different aspects of life. I mean how your youtube journey is going and your fight for financial freedom is a much more relatable topic which can appeal to a wider audience than jewellery (even if that's your passion). And if it doesn't work out you can always go back to that content too. the whole transparency vibe you have going is good and the intimate nature of your talks and how you go into detail about how much the money means to you is bringing in a new set of eyeballs and builds a good connection to your audience. You should try to capitalise on the momentum your channel currently has from the youtube analysis videos. Maybe do a few react videos. Throw a lot of stuff at the wall while your channel is still relatively small and see what sticks. At the end of the day your personality is more important than the topic and this video is a good introduction. Good chance to expand and put yourself out there. PS Also PATREON is another great revenue stream that allows people who feel a real connection with your work to support you as well. Adsense doesn't allow you complete control and you're at the mercy of monthly fluctuations in views whereas PATREON allows a quite regular and steady stream of income. Even small channels can have revenue of thousands of dollars through patreon. And they take a much smaller cut than youtube's memberships. Patreon allows your most dedicated fans an opportunity to financially support your work. NB One last note. I would consider changing the name of your channel to your own name or something similar. humans relate to and remember people foremost not brand names or things. Also in the long term content can shift. The channel name will no longer fit if (heaven forbid) one day you decide not to do jewellery whereas a more personal branding can be along with you for your whole youtube journey. When you think of the huge youtubers you immediately think of their name and personality not their niche (eg pewdiepie not 'gaming lets plays') Think about it

I used KZbin Shorts to blow my channel up. Took me 7 months to reach 150k subscribers. I just got my checkmark and the silver play button. I posted 4 shorts per week the first 3 months and then went to 2 per week. Now, I'm planning on adding in some long form content to boost the income. My first month being monetized I made over 2k. Keep at it!

This is very informative! As a new content creator, I’d just like to get to a point where I don’t have to inform everyone on my socials every time a new video is out 😂😂. Would like you think you can grow a large following in any niche, but some definitely go viral quicker than others 🙂
