This was a really good tutorial. Got this game for free and it looks promising, but the tutorial had me stumped after I couldn't finish the expedition due to lack of space or something. The game didn't tell me about the fossil mechanic and having to extract DNA from them etc. Thanks man.

good video thanks. I already done similar buildings games or simulations since windows xp, so for me this isnt that daunting. However the lack of space at beginning had me annoyed trying to fit new structures in places. A lot of it common sense you can learn from the real Jurassic park films ..good electricity supplies is of paramount importance, as in the real film, loss of power makes the park pretty much a dinosaurs picnic. So far only one incident, still a beginner really. Took a jeep to fill up food, and thought i would drive it back, but no idea what controls you use, ended up in the sill lake, and then an annoyed Triceratops lunged at the swamped jeep ending up being trashed !!! I found no one went into my two stores until I put viewing galleries, so I would put them as soon as possible to upping income. lovely presentation.

It depends on the level and environment. You can't get everything at the start of the game. Doing more missions can help a little.

im loving this game!! i never thought of the two electric gates for the carnivores. so im definitely adding that later. my rep on 2nd isles blows cause of dino's escaping :( you have any problems of the veliciraptors (sp) attacking the other carnivores? they don't seem to like any other species

Possibly, one thing I do is inspect each dinosaur, whichever one has a really low social rating I sell to stop them causing trouble. Hope that helps.

hmm i havent thought about that, the one thing i did discover is the Velociraptors will be okay if i put them with Ceratosaurus ones. i had an enclosure with 2 of each and that went fine. surprisingly i tossed in a Huayangosaurus modified with toughness, the Cera's left him alone but one unmodified Velo took him down was fun to watch. was trying to get my first island from 4.2 to 5.0 but sadly still at 4.6 even after installing a restaurant :( but my 2nd island i can't get past 2.6 /qq

Fantastic video! This really helped me out a lot. Just a couple of questions - Once a building has been built and is in operation, can it be relocated at any point to fit in with the design and layout of the park we're designing? Can the trees be uprooted and moved or chopped down? And how on earth do you create space for another Dino den so that you can have meat eating ones separate to the veggies? Cheers.

To answer your questions: 1) I don't think so. You'll probably have to sell and rebuild. 2) All the environment can be edited in the environment options, including the trees, the land heights, surfaces everything. 3) I made habitats separately and just made sure the right dinosaurs were assigned to each one. I believe they are automatic unless you decide to control them. I tend to take charge to just make sure they do the higher priority things first.

No, I mean that the player does not even have to click on the ranger teams and tell them to go refill the food etc. but that there is an "auto refill" option where they go out every X minutes and refill food etc. @@Mithrie

Thank you for this video! It was very disappointing (and frustrating) that the game doesn't really offer enough instructions on how to get things done. It just tells you to do it! And even worse, there's not really a pause button so you can go Google stuff, you gotta "esc" yourself out of the scenario if you don't want to get stressed... 🙄

Not in the first level but there is in later ones. One of the levels the storms are pretty common as well.
