I believe that when you start the company based on an idea, you have much more power and your start up is more likely to grow fast. You are closer to the client and you can understand them. I agree with the fact that in order to create a company, you need an idea. But it will be easier to make it concrete, if you are passionate about that idea. On the other hand, it is true that technology is essential in order to create a company. You can dream to make people fly, but if it is not possible to realize it with nowadays sciences, it will be or impossible, or it will take a lot of years to realize it. That is why bringing your idea with passion and technology, are important points to create a company.

There are three ways to create a company: the first is to have the technology of the future, i.e. to innovate. The second is to have the brilliant idea that will solve a problem. And the third is simply to work with passion.

In this video, I have learned three reasons to start a company. Those can be divided into personal (like passion) and problem/solution related (market pull / technology push). To then actually start a company, the personal drive is not sufficient, because you need of course need product or service. To find one you can either have a problem and search for a solution, or have a potential solution and find a problem that is solved by this solution. Either way don't forget: the solution is your product, NOT the problem ;)

In order to have a successful start-up, people have to work with other people and find the right connections. For example, in the context of business, being passionate is not enough to be successful. Such as people that have an idea, needs to work with people that have technology and vise-versa. Business is all about collaboration.
