I don't remember seeing this one at the time (1981 I'd judge) and never come across it since....but it is magnificent! The sight of Ronnie Barker as Buster Bloodvessel knocked me out of my chair immediately .... but their take on Bad Manners, as well as Chaz & Dave and Adam and the Ants is frighteningly accurate. Being musical masters they can easily conjure any musician or style with ease. Thank your for sharing and putting it our way at last...

Paul J G Me too Ronnie C was wonderful as Stuart aka Adam Ant, in 81 I was then 6 and absolutely obsessed with emulating Stuart. I bet Ronnie Corbett's daughters were embarrassed though, as many of the girls who were older than my six years, usually were obsessed with Stuart in a completely different way to me as he was a real gorgeous guy back then, I was far too young to appreciate that. This is hilarious, I bet Stuart Goddard - Adam thought so too..

God this brings back so many great memories!!! I was never a fan of Mark & W, but these two were so much funnier. So many hilarious and classic moments in their shows, the armchair monologues, the comedy serials, and last but by no means least, (and my favourite too) these classic song routines, absolutely loved them, and even the news reads too. These are still a joy to watch today as they were back then. Ronnie C just like his friend, was never afraid to dress up and throw himself into every crazy character with such gustavo, and never disappointed. That laugh when we see him as Adam Ant just fantastic!! And the fact that they were such good friends away from the cameras just makes it all the more heart warming. Thank you Ronnies for giving us years of unforgettable and classic comedy. There'll never be the likes of you two again. God bless you, we love you two so much!!!! R. I. P comedy legends.

I have every script to every skit and tv episode of every show he was ever in. And every episode of two Ronnies and open all hours. His talent is relentless. As a very lonely kid. He was eveything to me. Those wonky glasses would make me laugh so much. My favourite story was about the mystery of who was writing the first 7 seasons of The two Ronnies..as Ronnie B was writing it under a pseudonym. So it was used cos it was good. Not cos he wrote it. eventually it was worked out it was someone amongst the immediate circle ... and they started placing Bets. Lol when it came out that it was Ronnie Barker the room went silent ...and then someone at the back of the room said... no-one likes a smart ass...❤😂😂😂

The gentleman at the left-back of Celluloid Burp at 0:41 looks strangely familiar... If the notion of a show like The Two Ronnies taking potshots at a supposedly youth-skewed popfest like TOTP seems a bit odd, it's worth remembering that the same BBC personnel tended to be responsible for both - Michael Hurll oversaw the Rons & the Pops at more or less the same time, hence the accuracy of the spoofing.
