Hey man I love your videos, I just watch them for fun. There is a lot of misinformation about these transmissions, refreshing to see someone that actually knows what they are talking about hahahah.

Are the solenoids supposed to wiggle and be loose on the new valve body?

My 2015 Mitsubishi outlander RVR is showing a trouble code which indicates the Oil pressure switch.. do I need to change the valve body or the oil pressure switch only.

Any suggestions on a 2017 Lancer SEL P2719 code (control circuit low votage solenoid D).. i found a video on KZbin but its in a different language. Any help would be appreciated. Symptoms are delayed shifts, sometimes failing to engage R or D. I did a fluid and filter change x2 or x3.. when i test it, itll seem to run ok but theres a tinging, metal scraping sound when the gas is pressed. Also, the very 1st time I removed the Transmission pan, the magnets were covered like sea urchins with mostly fine specs like clutch material but there was one specific piece the was roughly 2.5mm in diameter. And if i replaced the valve body, should i have any problems finding a garage that can teach the ECU if needed? Im on the fence about replacing the valve body with a remanufactured one. When i removed the valve body, i checked continuity and ohmed out the solenoids and pressure switches but didnt have any significant smoking gun.

My outlander sport is doing the same thing would you bother changing the fluid and filter first trouble shooting or go straight to valve body? Thanks!
@YepThatsIt Жыл бұрын
hi, will depend on a few factors. first you would need to do some basics tests/checks and work you way up from there. if hasnt been serviced for a long time that might be a good starting point after basic tests and checks first. cheers

So to confirm the valve body and all the solenoids got replaced and it still has the same issues of shuddering? Im having a shuddering problem only when the transmission is warmed up about 30mins on a 2016 outlander sport is it even worth the hassle of changing the valve body and possibly having to get the dealership to flash it?
@P_double_H3 ай бұрын
Did you ever figure this out?
@nickgonzalez-q2y3 ай бұрын
@P_double_H I got rid of the car. I didn't think it would be worth the hassle. Especially since the car hasn't even hit 200k and it's already having transmission problems, I decided not to sink any more money into this car

@@nickgonzalez-q2y thanks for your answer. Sadly I am on the same boat. I am driving it in the city until it dies completely.

So you did not have to reprogram it at the dealer? I may take a shot replacing this on my 2011 outlander sport

From my understanding it's just a mechanical component not an electrical one only the time needs recomput9ng if it's been replaces

that is amazing video, you really sum up my research for the day, I am having the same iusses with my eclipse cross 2018 CVT, just I have a question, since I will start to flush my transmission fluid first, if the problem didt get sorted out, from where I can buy new valve body, can you refer me to a link. and another question, I am having a code for high transmission fluid pressure any idea about that code P0843

I have a 2015 which is throwing the p0776 code, secondary pressure something or other. It is looking like a valve body issue, fluid was clean when changed, no sparkles. how can you identify the cvt model? mine is a 2015 RVR 2.0 AWD Limited Edition(Canada). I imagine the process would be very similar to this? Thanks!

hi, most often is contaminated solenoids and sensors. the pressure switches may be leaking? you will generally get fault codes for electrical issues that the tcm can sense. a leaking solenoid will not give a fault code but worth testing. also solenoids and sensors often fail when they warm up but appear within specs at room temp. do not use a heat gun as they will damage the solenoids. you can place them in a plastic bag and boil them in water to test when warmed up. if helps cheers for beers link is in description

hi, aftermarket compatible fluid. see penrite or tritech www.datateck.com.au/lube/tritechaus/ for your vehicle, fluid can often come in red, clear/yellow, green etc. cheers
