I’m an apprentice at the moment. Me and my lead recently installed one of these. The line by the EEV was freezing up after adding 84 pounds of refrigerant. I noticed when he was taking out valve core moisture was making its way into the copper lines. Could that cause the line to freeze up?

This tool works on any mitsubishi city multi that has the M-Net communication ie if you have a system using 3 wire communication and power /line voltage combination ( mini splits) it won't work unless it's a P series and you install the Mnet adapter on the outdoor unit

Obviously it was cold out, why didn't you hook up to the indoor unit? Once you're connected to M-net you're connected, go inside where it's warm!
