I brought our L300 manual turbo-diesel Delica Chamonix to an off-road park in the region of Nagoya. What a glorious monster! In spite of my very limited offroading experience this thing could go anywhere! Enjoy the video ;)

Just bought a 1997 L300 Active World and am waiting for it to arrive from Japan (to Canada) this video was great and has helped me cope with the next month of waiting!

Which version is yours? Does it come with a turbo Diesel engine?
@-HumanOnEarth-5 жыл бұрын
Yep it's got the 2.5L turbo-diesel with a 4 speed automatic.

@@-HumanOnEarth- You still have it ? & do you still love it ?
@-HumanOnEarth- Жыл бұрын
@@digitaltactics9234 Indeed! It has been my daily driver since it arrived from Japan 4 years ago. Although slow, it is quite pleasant to drive, comfortable and handles quite well. Visibility out of it is perfect with no blind spots and it has about the same footprint as those modern mini coopers, so even though it seats 8 people, its no problem to drive in the city. I've also taken it camping a ton, once for over a month as I toured around the province. The back seats fold into what is effectively a queen sized bed, and the drive train can handle pretty extreme terrain, so I've been able to camp out quite comfortably in some incredible spots. All in all, it is a fantastic vehicle and I have zero regrets with it. If it ever stops working on me, I'll just buy another one and use it for parts because there is nothing else quite like it on the market (other than the Hiace I guess) and it has been hands down my favorite vehicle of the dozen or so vehicles I have owned.
