This is a video showing all of the issues I had to fix when I first purchased my eclipse. I wasn't making youtube videos back then, that is why I don't have proper video recordings like I would like to, but I think it came out pretty decent with the pictures I had. I hope you guys enjoy! Haha we got the same 2007 gts in same color. The first owner I got it from took really good care of the car though. Like really good care. The clutch was 11 years old but I had to go and brake it in under two minutes doing a but out the wrong way. Come find out it's so easy and intuitive how u do s burnout. Just accelerate and completely let go of the clutch. This can be done with e brake or no e brake. Don't know if u can tap the regular brake pedal. But yeah pretty much getting the ride fixed this week. Cant wait to cruise and actually get a nice burnout in. I'ma use water though and premium gas. And getting it first time. ;)

Do you know why it is apparently so difficult to do a v6 swap on the 4 cylinder versions? Shouldnt it just be what you would normally expect in a swap? Like harness, mounts, and ecu.

2WheelBandit I actually don’t know anyone who has done the swap, but yea I would expect it just to be engine, ECU, harness, transmission, mounts, and probably axels, but I don’t know of any other differences

Los compre en autozone, no estan tan buenos como los originales, el carro tiene mucho torque y los friega seguido (si es que juegas muchas carreras) pero tienen garantía de por vida so me los cambian gratis siempre

Is it still worth to buy an 1996 mitsubishi eclipse or should I buy a new eclipse ?

Michael Oswald it depends on taste man, I personally prefer the look of the 97-99 second generation eclipse, but you can convert the 95-96 eclipse to the that model. The 95-97 eclipses with the 4g63 engines are notorious for crankwalk, that’s another reason I would get the 98-99 model with the 6 bolt engine. Sometimes they will already have the 6 bolt swap, it’s rare to find a stock 2nd gen eclipse
