MITSUBISHI EVO 4 MAINTENANCE DAY II 4G63 HOW-TO

Doing some initial maintenance on the Evo to keep it healthy. I decided to change the engine oil, transfer case oil, spark plugs and clean the MAF. This was my first time tinkering with the 4G63 and it was fairly easy to work on. Please leave feedback and give me some pointers if you have any.

Love the 3000gt too. They are a great car to drive.. Just a tip I learned working on Jeeps, when you do transfer case oil changes you should make sure you can get the fill plug out before you drain the oil. That way if the fill is stripped or rounded and you can't get it off you can still drive till you get the fill open cus you didn't drain it yet.

You can be proud of this car (me too because also own a palma red 4) because if it's a true palma red original evo4 it is 1/333 ever built in this colour. Pretty wild if you imagine how many of these have been crashed or rusted away we might own two of maybe a hunderd ones left. Goosebumps.

Nice man, definitely important to do this type of maintenance everytime when buying a vehicle. You take care of them, they'll take care of you :) Think after all the maintenance is done you could make a 0 to 100 video? (KpH of course)

initialmoe Absolutely I can do one. I just need to get the dip stick issue sorted so I don’t spray oil everywhere lol. I got some o-rings yesterday but they are a tad to big so gotta run back today.
