Hello, not covered by your presentation for the top six buttons but present in the manual is "4-4. SETTING THE INSTALLATION POSITION". The installation position can be set only when all the following conditions are met: 1. The remote controller is powered off. 2. Weekly timer is not set. 3. Weekly timer is not being edited. Hold down WIDE VANE on the remote controller for 2 seconds to enter the position setting mode. Select the target installation position by pressing WIDE VANE. (Each press of the WIDE VANE displays the positions in order of center, right, and left.) Finally press EDIT/SEND SET to complete the position setting. Anyways this was very helpful to hear a clear and calm explanation of what all these mysterious iconographs really mean for the user. Great pacing and overall beautiful presentation. Thanks heaps!

Wow I gotta say that I learned a bit there. I have 2 issues with this remote as designed. Firstly unless you've got 20/20 vision, the snowflake & the sun icon look amazingly similar. Secondly if you're switching fan speeds & modes regularly (like hot days & cool nights) then moving the sliding case up & down several times a day is somewhat annoying.
@bjtech003 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the great videos. This is probably a dumb question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer. These remotes are sending devices only, correct? So If I use a remote from room B to change the settings on the unit in room A, the room A remote will not show the correct settings for unit A. Or if using the Kumo cloud, the remotes will NOT update to show the true current unit settings?

Does the remote have to close to the unit after the mode and temp is set or will the main unit retain the temp setting and run to achieve it
@n.e.t.r.inc.2607 Жыл бұрын
The unit will maintain the temperature it's set to until you use the remote to change it. So the remote does not need to be in close proximity to keep the unit running at the set temperature.

So is there a thermostat feature? If I set it to cool or heat it just blasts that temp it never stops
@n.e.t.r.inc.2607 Жыл бұрын
You have to set the temperature using the remote, and you can use the fan controls to control the speed of the unit. The unit will not turn off unless you manually shut it off. If the fan speed is set to Auto, then the fan will decrease to maintain the temperature it's set to, and then pick up when if the temperature changes. Please check out our Advanced Functions video for more control options.

I have a wall unit that does not change the setting (even though it shows the change on the remote) because I have not held the remote in the exact position necessary to read the remote signal.
