I purchased a 2018 with 24k miles. It feels like such a light and nimble suv to drive. The 2.4l has more than enough power. It cuts through the wind very well. I can go 95 mph and not even feel it. For the price that I got this ride i would definitely recommend it.

Powodzenia w dalszym nagrywaniu! Życzę dużo sukcesów i oby tak dalej! Pozdrawiaj

I like your reviews, watched a few of them as I was deciding on which car to buy :) I just bought this car today - 5 seater 2016 Mitsubishi XLS 2WD with leather seats. I loved the new look, suspension, space and head room of this car, especially compared to the old looking 2015 Nissan X-Trail. I am Polish Australian - glad to know another Pole likes this car ;)

Very nice review Marek! I am seriously thinking to purchase 3.0 V6, here in the UAE, and I believe that the equipment inside is mostly the same like in your case. Just as you said, I would also be driving it 99% on the road, so comfort and behaviour in normal conditions is more important for me. I see you are saying car is quite, and stable on the road, so I think that would be my choice too. Anyway, will definitely have to try it before purchase

I own a mitsubishi outlander 2.2did very solid car to me probably the one most capable suvs out der campared to the road biased car like vw tigun, skoda kiodaq,kia sorrento,etc which are much more car like to drive.mitsibishi is also much more competitive when priced against it rivals.the only criticism i would have of the outlander is noisy engine outside of the cab especially when cold and the interior dash has abit old fashioned look about it.

Great review mate. Balanced an honest. You are right about the Honda CRV and CX-5. Love the former for space, and gas mileage but the CX-5 looks better and more sporty. What is it with these SUVs? I used to drive a RAV 4 back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Great car but cramped in the back seats. Parked next to a 2019 model the other day. It's a monster, looks nothing like the one I used to drive. The same with the CX-5 and CRV. These late "mid-sized" SUVs are huge.

I've just read that Mitsubishi is introducing in Spain the 200 MPI CVT 2WD. I think it's only to catch the attention with a lower price, cause in this segment Diesel sales are near the 80%.

In order to ensure I can always have 1 review every week I'm filming about 1.5 review a week. That gives me time for a couple of weeks break over the summer, and winter (weather's unpredictable, days are short).

I like the the SUV but on my 4 year service they wanted to charge me $1200 and give it a 60,000K service...it had only done 11,000K because I refused to have this ridiculous service done, they chopped off my 5 years warranty. Also they increased my service fee by $50.00, did not change brake fluid, nor any car filters. When I asked for detail they refused to tell me.

In France you get the MIVEC but only with a very basic configuration.
@MarekDrives8 жыл бұрын
Basic configuration isn't bad, because sat nav (at least the one we get in Poland) is atrocious.
@AnthonyMcBazooka8 жыл бұрын
I will tell you if the sat nav is better in France when I test drove the car. In Luxembourg there are more options with the MIVEC: 2WD 5 seats Intense, 2WD 7 seats Intense Premium CVT and 4WD 7 seats Instyle Premium CVT. Also there are five options with the diesel engine. So it's probably a good idea to look for the car in Luxembourg. I will check both as I live near the border.

Hi, thanks very much for the review. I couldn't help noticing the sub woofer. I am currently driving a 2010 version with that same sound system. I am in the market for a new one but have just been told that mitsubishi no longer makes the Rockford fosgate sound system an option in the cars for the southern African market. Can you confirm whether that is so or whether some one at the dealership is just lazy to tick a box for me. I am in Botswana.
@MarekDrives8 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I don't have a clue how the car market in Bostwana works. I assume the general importer (which in case of smaller countries could just be the brand dealer) orders a consignment of cars based on previous sales results and forecasts. If in the past the sound system didn't sell well, then the importer may decide to order the entire consignment without it. The consignment is planned for production, transport, etc., and any modifications to this consignment generate additional costs (and most of all paperwork). If you were really persistent the dealer probably could order a car for you with the sound system, but it's not worth his or your while. Another possibility is that the dealer simply has a certain amount of cars on the lot, which he has to push out, before the new batch arrives. If there is a local importer above the dealer, then there should be a website for Mitsubishi with a configurator. You can check the available options there.

Hi, I am from Canada, so what do you think about the comparison between this Out lander and the Xtrail ( Rogue,), they roughly offer the same advantages over here such as the third row seats the same size engine and the same technology on a transmission, a part from fuel economy which I believe the Xtrail is the winner. thanks.
@MarekDrives8 жыл бұрын

In my country this segment is only for the rich. Let me explain: Mazda CX5: There are no option packages, only trim levels. And the lowest trim level that includes a reversing camera is just over 32k euros with the diesel. And without it, this car is useless, so in my mind, that's the base price. Honda CRV: 26k with the bare minimum equipment, but this doesn't have any safety systems, not even city emergency braking. Also, it uses a 5 year old Android version (that is still using Dalvik, so it's gonna get slower and slower over time) as infotainment, so as a geek, this kills the entire car. Mitsubishi Outlander: 31,5k, but you are paying extra for AWD, because you can't get the equipment level with a backup camera without paying for AWD, again, a simple ripoff. Also has terrible infotainment, so I'm not too keen on it. Toyota RAV4: 26k. That's about the only option in this segment in this country. A little background: In this country the avarageperson earns 480 euros a month after taxes according to OFFICIAL stats. And we have 27% VAT, so price is A LOT more important than in other countries. All the prices I mentioned are only valid in my country, and are comparing manual transmission models with the cheapest diesel engine available. Mostly because fuel prices are also higher in this country.
@MarekDrives8 жыл бұрын
+ast5515 Are you talking about Hungary?
@ast55158 жыл бұрын
Marek Drives Nailed it! I guess the 27% VAT is a dead giveaway.
@MarekDrives8 жыл бұрын
ast5515 Indeed. It's also quite expensive for Polish standards, although in the English reviews I use German prices. They are closer to Western European prices, and take into account eco incentives, something we don't get in Poland.

I have an outlander and I can say that Mitsubishi outlander is the lowest class SUV in the market. They have so many defects, that makes the car or the SUV so primitive. Number 1 is the nub for the fan to blow. I turn my fan to end for heat, all of the sudden the air conditioning light turns on and starts to blow warm air. Number 2 when I open my seat belt and am parked after driving and the car is still running, the warning signal and the sound for seat belt starts to annoy everyone in the car. number 3 the 4wd nub is just where it should not be. If anyone has a coffee or water or any kind of liquid in the car and inside the holder, and by chance hits the liquid or in a bumpy road the liquid splashes on the nub, then we will have electronic problem for 4wd nub. number 4 the rear wiper comes on by itself when it is rainy or wet, and I have no idea why. Once I had my bike mounted behind and travelling 500 kilometer, all of the sudden I realized the damn wiper came on and got stuck to my bike and I had no choice but to drive same way to destination. Number 5 the car has no compass like any other car does, and if someone like myself does not know what direction is driving, then would be lost in the streets or highways, and that is just a normal thing that 1980 cars have it. These are so far the things that makes the mitsubishi primitive to others.
