I've been trough hell and back with my Outlander. Got lots of issues with the DPF, blocking the car, pedal down, only gets slower, no power at all, lots of hopping in the engine, very bad at all. Got TONS of coal in the DPF system, and the further exhaust, removed all the DPF-crap, got a straight Stainless steel pipe right now from Turbo, to the last 2 dampers on the original exhaust, and it whent smoking like it was on a tractorpulling show. Today it suddenly just stopped running smooth, and i could only reach max 60KM/H with a tons of smoke behind me, the entire street enjoyed it proabaly, no power, nothing. So i got the pull out this EGR thing, and clean it manually, and now i hope that will succeed tomorrow, so it can FINALLY run smooth again.

It's been proven time and time again spraying cleaner into the intake like that does nothing to clean your EGR. You have to remove it and clean it properly or just replace it.

Hi what mm bolt did u use to take the clamp out? i tried 10mm but the clamp does not budge

I did it with same spray and the engine cut of way as I spray few pufs only !!! Help please

Try having couple of seconds intervals between each puf. Hopefully it will work. Good luck 👍

Yes below the throttle body The egr valve is connect to an egr cooler aa well so therefore you have coolant running through it so its a big job to remove it as yoi have to drain coolant as well

The EGR valve can be cleaned easily, unless the diaphragm or mechanism is broken... I know because I cleaned mine just recently. The EGR cleaning itself won't help much, the EGR pipe will basically be clogged up, totally. Also the exhaust manifolds on these tend to crack, carefully re-welded and refaced they will last and last. Pain in the butt. All of these 4n14's need an oil/air separator installed.

Recently removed the erg on my outlander and cleaned it out, I was shocked by amount of crap caked onto it, I used a spoon and brake cleaner. The jeep is running way better now and the engine check light disappeared.

I have a 2015 diesel common rail engine and it hesitates at 1500 rpm in 4th and 5th gear boost and fuel pressure drop?..sounds throaty and my pipe popped off twice,boost i think..maybe a blockage?.. pressure sensor? I dont know

Mate I've got this engine 2012 and I'm telling u all back pressure on boost is dpf and intercooler issues. To the point it knackered my turbo up and had a new one dpf regent do t always have to come up if it blue smoke and white smoke either there's to much oil on there aswell as dpf back pressure .. also drop the sump and the oil pick up line mine was completely full of metal shards from knackered turbo and gunked up

@@DannyC90210 to be honest mate all depend on how badly the percentage of build up is and if the filter cuz it like a honey cone if that's damaged ... The cheap fuel additive ones do lower the temperature of what it need to regenerate.. sometimes. The issue it self could be the dpf pressure sensor it all relative

If I whistles alot while driving then it hoses. May have splits in them my hoses was all shot the turbo side of the instercooler all the way up to the back of turbo splits every where even behind jubilee clip

It looks like the contents of the can. May be restrict the air flow of the large pipe to ensure the liquid from the can goes into the engine.

No they r not good. They have cam belt in them n r made by Renault

@@diykhan 2.2 PSA Hdi is made by pegueot and the 2.3 MIVEC is made by mitsubishi himself. As far as i know. I just cant decide which is more reliable
