Mitsubishi Pajero Gen 4 Dashboard Rattling sorted.

I did this fix and it has improved the dash rattle - vibration quite considerably. There is no need to bend bracket on the right hand side.. Just attach it the same as the other at the bottom. I used 2 drawer runners which I purchased from bunnings for around 6 - 7 bucks for the pair. It's tricky getting bottom bolts in as there is limited space but managed to get them on fine. Thanks again for the very helpful video as it motivated me to do my 2011 pajero. 👍

It is truly absurd that I purchased a 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero. Despite being almost new, the dashboard shakes as if it was carelessly installed during production without proper tightening. What's more frustrating is that the same issue persists even with a new car.

If you are referring to the back door rattle that sounds like a metal to metal kind of rattle, remove the door pannel and try to tap on inner skeleton of the door that are in contact with the skin of the door, you will find a point that creates a real PIA kind of noise.. Just stick a piece of foam there and your done.. .. If by back door you mean tailgate, check brake light at the top of tailgate. That rattle took me a while to figure out, but its done and dusted now..
