Meron akong Strada 4x4 GLS MT 2022 Model at sobrang satisfied po ako sa unit ko at ang sarap idrive hill hold assist ok na ako dun sobrang tipid pa sa Diesel gamit na gamit sa farm namin dito sa Arakan Valley Cotabato, kung driver ka talaga di mo na kailangan ng mga techie na features dahil pag nag loko yan, siguradong sasakit ulo mo.

The large fuel door is a sign that a DEF emissions fluid will be coming in the future. Most of the manufacturers have been leaning this way as we head into euro 5 or 6 . Mercedes started blue tec, and the larger diesel engines are already requiring it in the west.

In this regard Jeep in 2024 is kinda generous when it comes to off road features. It began to add more off road features in the mid trims, which is a big plus point for the company and buyers. Like Toyota done on Tacoma, 4runner, sequoia, however we all wish if they added some of those features especially like diff lockers or A-track system in little lower trim as well. Jeep does with JLU Willy's and JT Mojave, like in Toyota's Trd pro and Tre off road. All of wish they could add more one or two special features in altleast 3/4 trims. Most 4wd only has a good off road features in the top trims, some offer in all the trims in exchange of poorer on road performances and smaller engines with not many hp and torque to drive around. Basic tyres on basic rims, smaller tyres with lower GVM and GCM , which in turn customers has to spend more on aftermarket products to make their pride and joy (4wd) bit more capable and reliable, at the sametime more powerful.

@@pinayinfrance2642 bro, I'm talking Jeep 2024 model year, alright? Previous gens came with lockers only in the Rubicon variant. JT Mojave has only a rear diff locker. Yes they're expensive, however it has many features with solid axels. However in the dual cab ute segment Isuzu D-max offered rear locker on two top models. Triton is a very popular dual cab ute even in the Australian market, however it has many competitors in the dual cab ute segment, like Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-max, Mazda BT 50, Nissan Navara etc.. Which came with factory rear E locker atleast on two different trims. All I'm saying is if Triton comes with OME rear E locker on 2/3 trims. It's gonna dominate the whole South East Asia dual cab utes (4wd) market as well as Australia, S. Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and many other African and middle-east countries.

Even 4X2 can do the job, however for a city and as a rural country places where the roads are slippery, some steep inclines which get quickly eroded due to heavy rainfall and all types of bad weather and all then it's good to have a reliable 4wd with some good features.

2019 Strada GLS owner here, the only things that bums me out are that there will be no parking sensors on the 2024 Triton GLS as well as no 360 camera for its price. Other than those, this is one of my strong options vs the 2024 Wildtrak 4x2 and the upcoming 2025 Conquest 4x2 as i saw sa mga rumors na baka may facelift

Big drawbacks for me are the drum rear brakes (honestly unacceptable in 2023), no rear AC vents (at least the blowers from the previous generation would be nice), and the surprising omission of the excellent column-mounted paddle shifters of the old model. I think it is quite expensive considering these drawbacks.

lol it's a PICK UP TRUCK. They are meant to carry lots of loads. Drum brakes can provide more braking force than an equal diameter disc brake. sa tingin mo bakit puro drum brakes ang ginagamit ng mga trucks diba? kung gusto mo ng daily for comfort go for FORD RANGER lalo na kapag maarte ka sa features katulad sa brakes lol

they should just remove the dynamic shield design, it only looks good on the xpander their other cars look dated like this one even with newer design lmao. interior looks good tho and probably offers the best value for money pickup while I hope also being reliable. We owned a 2015 strada and it had transmission issue by 70k of running and they said its a common problem for that years manual transmission tho they fixed it on the succeding models still switched to a ranger 3.2 and still good till this day and looking for an upgrade and considers this or navarra since the newer rangers have small displacement lol

I would wait for the new Hilux with a Tacoma suspension that is being used in the GR Sport (the shocks are on the outside, instead of the inside). That would give you better road stability. I would also take a look at the Hilux with a gas-hybrid version.

No problem with drum brakes, they're actually better coz you dont need to replace as often as disc brake pads. They're low maintenance and very effective especially with heavy loads. You don't see disc brakes in cargo trucks for a reason.

I think Mitsubishi delivered with the new triton, the interior is great , it looks modern while still having a rugged look to it. The engine has been improved, it has mivec variable valve timing plus a twin turbo set up, it has one smaller turbo and one bigger turbo The smaller turbo spools first which gives improved low end torque, it can get up to speed very quickly, the bigger turbo takes over at higher speeds for improved top end. Even the older triton has a better engine design than the hilux, dmax , nissan navara. Despite the older triton having lower power figures, in day to day driving , the older triton destroys the hilux ,500nm torque, it destroys the isuzu that has a 3.0 liter engine 450nm in acceleration. The new triton improves on the older triton engine design wirh a twin turbo setup 470nm. This triton is also coming with Mitsubishi class leading off road performance and rock solid reliability, somthing that cannot be matched by the ford ranger.

The hand brake is still old-school, plus no adaptive cruise control and wireless charger. For the price of 1.9+ M, in my opinion is not worth the price. Id rather choose the wildtrak.

That engine is being used in the Nissan Navara outside of the Philippines (Australian Navara pick ups have this engine). The middle rear seat isn't that comfortable at all. It's similar to the Nissan Navara where legroom is almost non-existent. It's good that they retained the manual parking brake. The electronic parking brake on the Montero isn't that reliable. Once the actuator fails, this part would put a ding on your wallet.
