Also, working with Tom Waits on one of my own records would totally be my own personal “I scored 4 touchdowns in one game back at Polk High!” (I think Joel is self effacing and finny enough that he would approve if this joke.) He’s worked on a LOT of cool stuff since though. -Justin

@@SonicScoop Thanks so much for the reply :) Can you blame me?! :) ->There is literally nothing like that out there. It is such a unique and meaningful audio experience. And Joel was a vital part of it! All 4 The Book of Knots main members are living legends with amazing project on all sides. their work is as groundbreaking as The Beatles and Black Sabbath at their time. A lot of people are missing out because artists like The Book of Knots are not being given credit to. I am using every opportunity to promote The Book of Knots, even here now. They really deserve it. Utilizing music theory to its extreme. Where else can you hear such a big emphasis on tension and release in contrast that is so extreme? Those dissonant 7ths and 9ths are so impactful carrying so much emotional weight. I just got an idea, maybe you could do the honors and do the interview with Joel about his music career as an artist? Maybe trying to reach out to other The Book of Knots main members too. I bet Tony Maimone would be up for it. Listen, knowing so much about their music, if there is any way I can help to make this happen, you are welcome to reach out. A lot of serious musicians would benefit from that interview. If anyone else is reading this, give a chance to The Book of Knots, you are not gonna be dissapointed!! :)
