Mixed duck day (LIMITED OUT) with new gun - Wildfowling

I ventured forth in my game of cat and mouse with the local geese. I ended up having morning and evening flights at duck with a snipe and woodcock hunt sandwiched in between. Quite a varied days sport and bag.
The Yildiz Wildfowler is earning its keep already. Feels far more natural than those pumps actions and semi-autos.
ps I have been made aware recently that I had the wrong Yildiz chokes in the gun. Learning for all - make sure you have not only the right make but also the right model of aftermarket chokes......I didn't pay attention and got the wrong model - now corrected.

Very nice video. I mostly hunt deer, seal and beavers here in Norway. I've really wanted to branch out into hunting waterfowl. We don't have a big culture for that where I'm living, but the family is now desperately hankering for a dog, and I'm thinking that those two things could come together nicely. Could you see a use for something like a .22 for hunting fowl in your area, or is this really shotgun or bust? I have a shotgun, but I rarely use it. It is mostly the 6.5x55. I appreciate the low key style of the video. No loud music or yelling and screaming, just real life hunting. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback! Wildfowling is only carried out with shotguns (and punt guns) in the UK. I'm not sure using a .22 rimfire or otherwise would be legal here and there are the safety aspects of ricochets off the water etc. It just not the done thing but different countries and cultures who knows especially where food provision is the priority ? Get a shotgun and a Labrador. You'll love it! Good luck!
