Princess Emily has a very talented mother, the Queen of mixed media art! I love this, it is beautifully creative. Truly inspirational Marta. And, absolutely you must do a "left-overs" video, as I too save my leftovers, every little scrap of anything from packaging to beautiful napkins (I think they're called serviettes in UK), so you doing something with your leftovers I know without a doubt would be inspirational for all of us. Sending much love from Georgia USA! xx

You are never boring..don't worry about that..it's nice that you teach as you work especially for those of us who are fairly new to mixed media. I always enjoy your videos very much. I get a lot of ideas from you and I've learned a lot.

Love it!!! As always!! I have some chronic pain issues I live with and Sunday was one of those days when I just had to put myself in bed. I had my iPad and was watching one of your videos (the snow girl art pages) when one of my cats came and curled up on ,y lap and started watching too! He even got closer at one point as if to be sure he saw exactly what you were doing!! Made me smile! Marta you are such an inspiration to me and the reason I started dappling in mixed media. I absolutely love it and you make it so easy to be brace and try. I know how much time videos can take to do and the fact that you are always willing to do what we ask for and break it down in simple steps is the sign of an awesome teacher. I cannot thank you enough for sharing your beautiful talents. Looking forward to meeting the new family member, too! Blessings, Sharon aka OKIStampqueen

People have to realize they have to use what they have and it they want something different and can afford it then they should buy it. I buy things when I find them on sale, or thrift stores, etc. You are right you have to design around the look of the photo you have. I know how you feel when you say things you don't want to be taken wrong. It is so hard to say things and not step on toes but you are so kind hearted I don't know how anyone could. I had to laugh though when you asked "Am I boring you?" I am sorry if I am boring you." You are just so sweet. God bless you, dear heart

one day i'm gonna wake up and be marta and half a dozen other things i aspire to. i've watched every texture video six times and still feel like i don't know where to start with what i have. so...with about 50 gesso'd and started packaging tags, i'm still trying to figure out what to do next...i think another six viewings ought to provoke me to something... and... i do do something as you're working, and your voice and commentary really helps me a lot... thank you for your gift, for sharing it, and one day... i want to attend an arty class... hugs.

Wow Marta this is absolutely gorgeous. Love the colours you've used and love your chitchat too. I must finish off a shadow box I started 12-18mths ago which includes a photo of my mum when she was 17. I've used Lindy's on it but in green pink and peach colours. Just need to colour the flowers that go on the inside of it. Think I'll go and look at it now. Keep on inspiring us Marta we love it xx

When I first started watching mixed media videos and saw miss Marta for the first time, she was the one who inspired me to start doing mixed media. The sprays were very intimidating to me in the beginning and it was SOOOOOOOO hard to decide which company to buy from and what colors I would want to start with, this was 2 1/2 years ago, and I have almost every color in Lindy's sprays and Magicals lol.. I can offer my advice on what I did when I first purchased my sprays from Lindy's. I went to their website and looked under the "colors" tab, and there they have each color section of sprays, I chose my favorite from each color section for example: blue = Tibetan Poppy Teal, purple = Witch's Potion Purple, yellow = California Poppy Gold, green = Bells of Ireland Green, red = Rudolph's Nose Red, pink = Cotton Candy Pink, black = Midnight rendezvous Raven, white = Frozen Jack Frost, brown = Cattail Copper Brown Those are just some of my favorites and it gives you a nice color selection to begin with. The wonderful thing is that Lindy's is very decent priced so you can buy a couple a month and build from there. Hope that helps some of you! Xoxo. S.

Thank you so much for sharing your inspirations with us. I really enjoyed hearing your thought processes. Also the little rhinestone round thingies you were putting on there if I am seeing correctly we call those gum drops. Tim Holtz has a line of those and they are clear. You can use alcohol inks on them to change their color. I know there are other brands I just don't know what they are. Regards from the US!

That is a great photo. =) That reversed canvas with the doll, is really amazing! I'm a huge fan of your work. it's all so pretty.... and you have so many great ideas! =) My brushes do that all the time... (the handles start flaking- and the paint comes off the handles... it's annoying). Yes! I would enjoy a mixed media- leftovers canvas/project video(S). ;) Bless you! (for the sneeze!) ;) No, you are not boring... and I agree with your opinion about the photo used, in a project. =) And you made a lot of sense to me. *hugs* (if that's ok). ;) That's a beautiful project. =) I love it. =)

Hi Marta! I've been watching your videos for long time. Thank you for sharing your ideas and experience. Like it very much. One question only...Do you cover your mixed media projects with any sort of finishing? To protect it from moist, dust, light etc...I believe that if you put it for example to the wall (or to shelf), after some time it will be dusty...and it will be very difficult to clean. So is there anything to cover the finished project so, that later I may easily keep it clean and nice?
