Mixed Media Sketchbook Tour : Burma to Myanmar

This special sketchbook is inspired by the arts and crafts from the British Museum's recent Burma to Myanmar exhibition. I give a little background of my life in Burma and how I became involved with this exhibition. I talk about my process from sketching at the museum and working them up in watercolour and mixed media.

Thank you for sharing your Burmese culture with us through your sketching/art. It was stunning. I rather like the pencil marks you left behind the dancers. To me, it represents the unseen movement of the dancers moving across the pages. I appreciate how much beauty and detail you did capture even though you say you didn't get too detailed. I LOVE how well the swooshes of paint from the pre-prepared pages work with the sketches of dancers at the end, you can feel their movement! You captured them just beautifully, I think they're my favourite part, although it's pretty hard to choose a favourite page :)
