Hi, i really appreciate this tutorial. It’s very easy to follow and I am one step away from buying this QGO app!. But I have one small question to ask if you don’t mind… Let’s say I bought this app and since it will be my first time so obviously I’ll be still watching this tutorial till the time I reach my goal in increasing the graphics quality on games etc… My question is, whenever I try to use this app after the shutdown of my Quest 3 do I still need my laptop on and connected with the same Wi-Fi alongside my Quest device? Or will this app work standalone itself too like anywhere and at any place I want? Will highly appreciate your feedback on this please, Thank You!. 😊

I have to press menu button and select always and press menu button again to open the app. It's worth it.

When you allow the DeBugging, does that eliminate or interfere with the *Enable Quest Link* pop up that is used to play pc games thru the USB cable? I've got mine working now for my pc library... and just don't want to throw a wrench into that.

WOW! I played black hole pool and it definitely made a difference. I could read the leader boards while at the table. I can’t wait to try guided meditation VR tonight. It was why I really wanted QGO. I want my nature scenes as realistic as possible. I have kayak on PCVR. I know it can’t be that good. It is sad that PCVR support seems to be declining. I get it though. People have quest 3 stand alone more than have PCVR.

Sebastian, hello. You play with eye-enhancing lenses for Quest 3, what kind of vision do you have? I have something like this, the right eye is minus 1.5 -2, the left is minus 1. True, this is not accurate data, since I am writing with possible changes, I visited the ophthalmologist a long time ago. It’s just interesting to compare your indicators with my vision indicators and understand how I can feel without additional supplements. lenses in Quest 3. I didn’t play on Psvr2 for long, but as we know, it has Fresnel and naturally the quality is very low, but I played without corrective lenses, because they would possibly put pressure on my forehead and reduce the viewing angle. But when I saw the corrective lenses for the Quest 3, so thin and compact compared to the Psvr2, it was encouraging.

Hi, you do not lose the profiles. And yes you should open the games through QGO. But there is even an option in the settings to make it so that you can open the games anywhere if you prefer!

okay ive been using it for a few games now - looks like the best settings are to keep resolution 100%...frame rate slide to 120...cpu and gpu at dynamic, and foveated at highest...fps games so smooth with 120 fps...my k/d ratio improved...no more wtf moments getting killed...the only different settings i have is for big screen...copy the hd+ resolution, frame rate slide to 120, cpu gpu dynamic, and turn of foveated...awesome movie viewing experience

One of the most pixelated games i have played on my quest 3 is Bonelab. Is there a big difference on this game with this app ?

You can literally create profiles for any game. You set the resolution, GPU & CPU *set both to unlocked to make it easier*, and youre done. I bumped up the resolution on the Mission ISS app and it made all the difference in the world. Textures look much much sharper and there are no more jaggies. It makes seeing into the distance much better with the increased resolution.

Still not seeing it. I have only seen and clicked on the ON THIS COMPUTER ALWAYS once... you show it 4 times? I do see My quest 3 is connected and green in sidequest. I did install the APK. I did wifi on phone and headset and I see the wifi logo on the computer as GREEN (connected). I went to unknown and still don't see a optimizer. I'll keep fiddling...

You're going to want to use an extended battery solution of some type. Played for an hour this morning out of curiosity and it killed half the battery. Im using an official extended battery headband and it drained the entire thing in 1 hour. I was also pushing games to 3000+ resolution and settings GPU CPU to unlimited.

Just a forewarning!! Please pay attention! Yes, it works... very well in fact. HOWEVER!! Once you completely shut off the Quest, you must reconnect to the SAME network, or have the same computer/phone you originally installed the app on for. In other words, you cannot just take your Quest out and about, say for vacation or whatever, unless you have your laptop or phone you setup the program with. As amazing as it is, it really should have been written so that once the App is installed, it is free to use any Wi-Fi network, but sadly it must have the ADB install somewhere near it. :( But, it is amazing nevertheless.

Actually this is incorrect, I have used diffferent Wifi Connections and it ADB works fine without issue. i.e. hotspot form phone, hot spot from friends phone, work wireless network etc...

note you will not see the wifi connect icon if you disconnect the usb cable. keep the cable connected then do the wifi connection and disconnect cable.

Hey Seb...I've been a subscriber for 6 years now and you always have great videos. I just wanted to say to Meta....we shouldnt have to jump through hoops to get a great experience out of our games. Every game should just look great from the beginning. Come on Meta...do better! Many of us bought the Quest 2 and we all spent $600 for your Quest 3 headset. Give us what the games are supposed to look like right away. And yes before people put in the comments it will drain the battery if they did that Im aware of this. Most people already bought battery packs for their Quest 3. Trust me the majority of people who bought Quest 3 are upgrading from the Quest 2. No one who doesnt even know what VR is or even experienced VR is shelling out $600 for something they never tried....so again....Meta...give your customers the best experience allowed from this chipset.

I never had a quest 2 but i have a Reverb G2 and now a Quest 3, that feels like an Apple product.. when I used to use iphones connecting them to PC and unknown sources from the phone app jumping thru hoops just to install something on it that wasnt from stupid Apple. Fella. It’s not just Meta’s fault. The Devs for games have to do this themselves. Hence why we’re waiting for Quest 3 updates for games. Beat Saber literally only just sent out their Q3 update. B&S Nomad won’t be doing anything until they fully release the game (on PC) Bonelab is releasing a beta by end of the year. Breachers has unveiled theirs. Meta should have given their developers time to do this prior to release and given them more options with clocking. But, the devs are responsible for updating and patching their games.

@tigolbiddies5444 Yes, I know developers have to allow this, but Meta did NOT give out dev kits for Quest 3 before launch. I know because I've contacted several gaming developers already, and they told me they are frustrated themselves with the way Meta handled the launch of Quest 3. This is why Quest 3 versions are just coming out now. Developers are usually given dev kits way in advance so they can learn all the nuances of the system in order to make the game optimal.

I stopped in the beginning of the installation, something you forgot to mention is to get a DEVELOPER ACCOUNT you will need to provide a credit card, or setup 2 way authentication by putting your phone number, or attach a phone number to your Facebook account. I'm not interested in doing any of that unfortunately...

I installed the optimizer and tried reg. Bigscreen and optimized ver. I also did the same with Arizona sunshine and saw no difference. For some people including Sebastian it must be a Placebo effect! Don't Waste of your money. Sebastian were you paid for this Endorsement?

Hi Mark, thousands of people love this app, me included. And no, it has nothing to do with placebo, you simply increase the resolution with this app. It is an obvious improvement for the apps that run on a low resolution. Did you follow the tutorial step by step? Did you launch the apps you want improved from within the app? Oh and by the way, how classy from you to insinuate I would have been paid off, after I am giving you a free step by step tutorial, that took me a long time to make. Just incredible. And for your info: whenever I do a paid promotion, of course I am disclosing that within the video.

I appreciate your passion for the Quest 3 Game Optimizer and I understand that it has helped many people. However, I would like to clarify that I did try the app on Assassin’s Creed as you suggested, but unfortunately, I did not see any difference in resolution. I also tried the app on Bigscreen and Arizona Sunshine, but I did not see any improvement in graphic quality. I understand that the app is designed to increase the resolution of apps that run on low resolution, but I did not see any improvement in the apps I tried. I appreciate your hard work in creating the tutorial and I hope that you can understand my experience with the app. I am open to trying the app on other games and I will let you know if I see any improvement in graphic quality.
