That's exactly the fun part of RPGs! You can only get this high of a level if you really commit to it, and you're rewarded by being able to steamroll everything. A level cap of 50 would have been 'reasonable', but you'd lose the joy of grinding. The level cap doesn't influence the normal game progression either.

It doesn't make sense when before Brothership the final bosses ranged from 31-40 depending on the game, especially since there's no post-game. Level 50 for the max level would be perfectly fine.

All that lowering the level cap would do is ruin the fun for anyone that wanted to become overpowered, and it would add nothing to the game. It's bad enough that the Farmer Boots are gone.

You know, you could've chosen different boosts instead of faster leveling, the grind might take longer but that just means you deal more damage Also, Dizzy + Fire + Ice + Bros Boost is fun (because the first 3 have a super combo)

Considering Reclusa in the tree goes into panic mode at 5000 hp, and your jump helmet does 5930 damage, can you just totally skip the last phase?
