The explanation of the plugins you used was golden. Especially the compressor; much needed. Thank you! Big help!!

My experience with EQs: it’s really good to listen to your own voice and find your frequency range when you sing/rap-that way, you can make those incremental 1.5-2 dB adjustments to individual spikes/“redlines” that recur throughout your vocal track. For me, C#5 (at about 554 hz) was overloading constantly on my main vocal for the hook on my new song, (it was every time I would say ‘Think’) so I turned it down about 2 dB at that exact point, along with the normal roll off and mid-embodiment to smoothen things out. Am I on the right track here? Would appreciate any and all feedback and/or criticism, and I hope this helps 💯

Please make a video how Cakewalk users can record through pluigins? Such as compressor or eq using before printing in the daw. Thanks

How to you create a double effect? Do you need to record the doubled track again or is there a plugin for that or option? Apart from that this videos was very easy to follow and a massive help 🙏🙏

SKELLY I’ve found it sounds the smoothest to just record the dub and put it on a separate track with its own effects, that way you can pan both tracks as well. It also allows the dub to remain a mono track so it comes through on its own, and in optimal quality while still remaining separate via the panning of the tracks (I usually do like 15-20% pan to each side to keep it balanced and not too far apart)

SKELLY glad I could help:) I’ve been doing more research and it seems like you most pros pan the tracks as far as possible to create the best sound, but I’m sure it depends on preference too. After all, everybody’s different right?
@skellyraza6971
@skellyraza6971 4 жыл бұрын
@@jarrodhayes1261 yeah definitely g depends on the artist etc I've just panned each track 15-20% is it best to do it equally on both sides or the main vocal less percentage? Fuck it man I've so many questions about different things I'll play about and try and find out more online 😂

how do you route your mixing bus
@TrueSoundTV
@TrueSoundTV 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! So i generally have separate busses for: drums, parallel compression for drums, bass, synth chords, synth leads, main vocal, backup vocal, parallel compression for vocals, reverb, room verb, delay, early reflection, and a metronome. So any of the main instruments get a seperate bus so that i can use a bus compressor on those. I do have a video on bussing -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqKug4KNbpmIq6M maybe that will help. Thanks again!
