Whatever mic you can afford that won’t hurt you financially. I’d start with a Bluebird SL. (My first “pro” mic). It should be a decent upgrade from an NT1. Just make sure you have an interface.

That’s a part i said while filming but cut out of the video. Yes automation can be used but to have to manually click in every single up and down to get everything to match would take hours to get as sharp and precise as vocal rider. That’s why I don’t recommend it. But if you want 🤷🏾‍♂️

There’s a time and a place for all types of music. Braggadocio bravado music serves a place and a purpose right next to humble soulful music. The same way breakup songs compliment love songs. To everything there’s a season. I can’t knock an artist for rapping lines like this. I, myself, have written lyrics of owning million dollar mansions, foreign trips and expensive cars and generational wealth. All while driving a 99 Mitsubishi Mirage with a blown head gasket. Why? Because it’s manifestive. I spoke those things as a way to manifest my future. F-ing a B is just his desire. As mine was simply to be wealthy. But the sentiment is the same. The person dreams of a better life. Speak things into existence. It gets dumb when these artists start rapping about shooting and killing people because no one should be doing or aspire to do that. That’s where I would have a problem. But to speak of an upcoming point in your life while you’re still down ain’t nothing but hope to me. And hope is rich. Faith is rich.

I should have been more specific in that regard, but I don't think that the comment was dumb. I turned it off after the song lyrics had repeated a few times, which I gathered would have to occur throughout the whole video. The song to me was offensive as a woman, so I commented to attempt to make you aware that it was to me. Maybe others feel that way and keep it movin' but I have appreciated your videos and watch the, only this one I couldn't sit through cause of the content of the song.
