@@panorama_mastering when you're mixing, do you ever get bored and start making little parodies of the song you're mixing as you're going along...like, here would you start singing like "Lately I've been shopping for a dress" or something stupid like that, just so listening to the same lyric doesn't make you go insane

Great vid. I was one of those 'don't use presets' guys until I started to use the IK 404 Tape plugin. There's a preset called Finish 1 that I tend to always use when I get a 'smiley face' mix in as it acts more like a mid range eq. This completely changed my mind on presets.

What why? Linear phase would just smear the transients. No reason for linear phase if it's not mid-side EQ etc.

Hmm. Do i need another enhancer? I like the looks. I don`t like however that white shea studio tested it and it seems that the Eq labelled values do not represent the real frequencies the eq actually affects. Interesting and i hope they solve this in the next update. Not cheap thats for sure

Such a great channel. I was listening to your Collie Buddz mix and I have no idea how you got this sounding so damn amazing. I would love to see you take a subscribers mix...such as my own and take it from turd to diamond. lol

Thanks man! Those collie buddz records I mastered, Noah Cronin had mixed them. They sounded stellar the mixes which came in! So I was polishing gold from the get go

Any particular reason while you often loop out of the music structure (like it loops weirdly most of the time)? Writing about this cause maybe that’s a way for you to not listen to the music, but the frequencies?

He just loops the part he's trying to show you the processing on usually
@AlexandreMaubert5 ай бұрын
@@You-ud2fp what I mean by this, as you probably know, if you choose the entry point and end point of your loop following the structure of the song ::~> when it loops it doesn’t sound like a needle jump on a record, and loop within the groove structure (4/4 for example) It’s disrupting the listening experience of the music for me when it loops randomly in the song structure, so I was wondering if it has any advantage or benefit? Or ifs just random looping
