I dived the Mixon hole nearly 50 years ago and remembered the blister balls lying on the sea bed, and an old pot with a “rag” attached that turned out to be a squid, big puff of ink. Happy days.

They were either Pollack or Pout, which is are both members of the Cod family.

Love the doggie coming out at 2.28. And yep, they're pollack. The protruding lower jaw gives it away.
