I think the thing with Iris is almost like tunnel vision. Especially because their relationship has been super close with Barry’s behavior being the same since they were kids, even before his mom died. So if you don’t know anything different, you’re not going to suspect anything different. For years he’s acted the same and they’ve been each others only friend, but never voiced his actual feelings were more than friendship so of course she’d be like “this is just how Barry is”. So that’s how she can tell he’s keeping a secret now, like The Flash, but not his feelings. And if she did, she’d have the same concern Barry does: knowing or acting on it and it not working out could ruin a decade+ long friendship.
