Iori knows how his master fights and up until that point has been fighting other servants such as rogue beserker which even his master was having difficulty with. Iori even impressed Cu and had him waiting to fight him again. Also even if its a hidden fight he fights gilgamesh even if he is a rogue its still gil. Musashi also had no master during the fight. So she was most likely running out of mana.
@foxph0rus Жыл бұрын
The thing is though is that she is not only a Berserker, which was the highest raw combat power, she is still being powered by 3 COMMAND SEALS, and still beat her. And also that one thing that Koujirou is known for, like his main shtick is the Swallow Reveral which is 3 sword strikes simultaneously, and even Artoria praised Koujirou for basically accomplishing something that is the equivalent of an np in his life. Yeah Iori can do that but with 6 strikes, 3 with each sword. Iori also mastered Void stance which took Mushashi dying TWICE to do. I think barring anything a sword can’t deal with, like Avalon, I think Iori is the strongest swordsman in fate even as a human. Bro is INSANE.

Long story short - Musashi let him win. She was not serious during the match as she was in Lostbelts or Shimousa and she even smiled and let herself open when he used the last strike. Because let's get real, like Musashi is going to kill her own disciple at a point of the War where she basically decided to quit and hence has no reason to kill him.

@@TheRagnarose It's not headcannon, I played the game and fought her several times. She fought on even ground with Iori and didn't use any ultimate attacks. If you still think she was holding back remember that we are speaking about the person that with her ultimate attack was able to cut down Ivan the Terrible who was at that time gigantic mammoth and Chaos itself which she did by cutting thought the Void. So yeah... if she was dead serious Iori would have been killed just like when Saber killed him in a Bad End literally few minutes afterwards. Unless you are suggesting that Saber is much stronger swordsmen than Musashi as Iori was defeated in sword duel against Saber.

@@SiegfriedFafnirsbane That's because his style isn't just Niten Ichi-ryu. He said it himself that he learns anything that can lead him to victory. That's why he also trains with one sword, with magic, and even learned from the real Kojiro. Musashi had a dad that she hated and surpassed him by aiming for the void instead of the pinnacle. Kojiro challenged the impossible and created a technique that can hit three different spots at the same time (because of a bird). Iori had a rough childhood and because of that pursues a sword of absolute victory.

Not really? Some servants are stronger than they are when they’re alive such as those molded by superstition and beliefs surrounding them such as Zhou Yu getting things from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms which he acknowledged was odd. But a lot of characters who are living heroes are way stronger than they are when they’re alive in comparison to them as servants, “class container” is literally a term used so often, and it’s a way to limit these figures with things suited for their container. Sure, they can still be powerful but they wouldn’t have the things they had when they were alive. Someone like Heracles in his era when he was still alive would for one be stronger than he is under the class container of berserker.
@iskandaraslar-pf3iv10 ай бұрын
@@Transcendental-Anu it depends on the servant but for a normal human like iori it could possibly be stronger than his alive counterpart after he become a servant musashi even mention once in casino Camelot arc that she has gotten stronger after becoming a servant So if the servant is born in age of gods they would probably stronger in they alive counterpart(most of them just built different )but if the servant that born after the age of god ends they pretty much stronger in their servant form(most of them normal human) Take emiya for example

@Van-yh6to2 ай бұрын
Stronger I'd say, at least in a 1v1 duel of swordsmanship. Iori's entire story is about him struggling to become a true successor to his school or swordsmanship after his Musashi died before he could truly be a master. This is final climax of his growth arc, finally being able to truly call himself his master's successor by doing what Musashi, and all grandmasters would want their disciples to do. Which would be to have the student surpass the master in order to ensure the growth of their discipline across generations.

This is Musashi from FGO, she came here by his "ability" to travel between worlds. You can see she is transported to another world at the end.
@azerosblank5036 Жыл бұрын
The reason Iori won here is most likely because Musashi was already disappearing. It was also a duel of swordsmanship between the two. Although it's a far stretch to claim that Iori surpassed Musashi, you still cannot downplay the fact that he won the duel; and that he probably has the strength of a lesser servant. Afterall, he did beat Musashi (and with Musashi's personality, it's unlikely she held back in terms of swordsmanship in this duel) who was powered with 3 Command Seals. The fact is that Musashi became a heroic spirit because of the Ninten Style she created, and Iori winning against her speaks volumes about his growth and strength. Not to mention the double Swallow Reversals which in my opinion, was really epic when it was revealed - equivalent to that of a lesser NP. If Kojiro was 1 star, then Iori might be around 1-3 stars.

@@enumaelish9193I say Sieg vs Karna, how the hell does Sieg even able to handle the power of Siegfried against freaking Karna is just wtf. It's too convenient that Sieg just have everything to fight Karna, the whole Shield and Galvanism thing are just insanely convenient BS. At least with Shirou's fight there are still a lot of risk the story mentioned, especially in the VN. Shirou vs Berserker, Shirou only won because Illya was able to make Herc sane for a little, if not for that he's dead since the last slash of 9 lives blade work took slightly longer, also Archer arm is shown and told in the VN literally killing Shirou everytime he uses it, and in the end Shirou did die because of it depending on the ending you get. With Gil vs Shirou, in the VN Shirou is always on CQC from the moment he deployed UBW to finish, he never run around and does super jump like in the anime, on top of that his mind is struggling keeping up UBW and trying to fight Gil at the same time. In the VN (and even the anime) the only reason why Shirou even win is because Gilgamesh think Shirou is lower than him and he doesn't bother using any of his stronger NP such as Enuma Elish. With Gil it's a consistent thing where the stronger or the more respect he has for his enemy, the more serious he is, this can be seen in Fate Zero against Iskandar where he respects Iskandar and uses Ea, and Gil is also more serious fighting Enkidu in Strange Fake, using Ea multiple times. Also Shirou kill got literally stolen because Artoria uses Excalibur and caused his UBW to go down lmao.
