Listening this on 27 August 2024. My always favourite aad amanat ali khan. And hamid ali khan. It was a shocked monet for me when asad amanat khan passed away. I suddenly leave everything. Almost for the whole month i remained silent. What a class it was. May Allah rest his soul in peace. Ameen

Heart touching performance. There is a great cotribution of Shyam Chaurasi Gharana/ Patiala Gharana producing such great vocalist like Bade Gulam ali Sajab, Najakat ali- Salamat ali sahab, Amanat ali - Fateh ali sahab. These sons r beautifully carring out the Legacy of these gharana. Remarkable. So authentic performance to listen any time and many times.

You're welcome - I am glad you liked it! I do not have a date for the concert. But I think this is during a Mehdi Hassan concert in London/UK in the 70's (hence the accompaniment of Tasadduq Khan). Old timers would know better. :)
