🤣 I told myself I was never going to be it when the first one came out but I’m a sucker for a sale . And kofuzi said it was designed for mid foot strikers and that’s right upu alley

Just took these on my final 20 mile LR before my marathon in 3 weeks. While they won’t be my pick for the race (I’m going Edge Paris), they were super fun to run in. The bevel is further forward than V1, which makes them worse at slower paces for me, but super fun when I’m on it. The flip side of that of course is that if you can’t run the way it wants, it’s awkward and so I don’t feel confident enough that I could hold the form for a full and strike the way it wants me to.

Yes it makes you run a certain way and you have to be disciplined to maintain . I feel similar with the metaspeed edge Paris , however, if you fall off form in that , it’s still killer all around. I love the edge Paris the more and more I run in it

Pro 1 is the half size small. The pro 2 is true to size

Soooo tempting. I'm a forefoot/midfoot striker so these look appealing, but I also am not racing anytime soon and don't really need to spend any more money on running shoes at the moment.

Yowana, these shoes are so wild and niche. I feel like they would be impossible to run in for heel strikers. It seems ideal for mid foot strikers. And not just mid foot strikers but mid foot-to forefoot strikers versus heel to mid foot strikers. I’ve got to take it through the paces but you can’t even walk in this thing

You should go 11, given how you’re a bigger 10.5. Just took mine for 20 mile long run today and while they won’t be my marathon shoe, they’re so damn fun

I ran both in v1 and v2 in two Mizuno runs. V1 was short and needed a size up. I ran v2 during TRE and they were TTS as far as I remember. They still have size 10.5 and 11 atm, but if it doesn't fit well, you can return them easily.

Looking forward to review. My worry is that with virtually no heel pad I might injure myself if I heel strike a little. Kind of like falling off a very tiny cliff.

Depends how far back you heel strike, but the bevel forces you to strike further forward in my experience.

I ran in a demo event in these. Unless you are an extreme overstrider, you become a midfoot striker with these (if you were landing heel normally).

My size US10 was sold out but I got US10.5. I ran in these in a Mizuno event during TRE and unlike v1, I think these are actually TTS as far as I remember but I will check again when they come. I hope you don't get heel slip because they removed the heel counter in v2 so it is floppy and I had a bit of heel slip and they don't have extra hole for runners loop in this version. As far heel strike, well you become mid-foot striker with these unless you have an extreme overstride.

Wowww. I do have a little heel slip. I didn’t know they didn’t have extra hole for the loop. I’m going to try and lock it down harder. A little heel slip doesn’t bother me too much . Thanks for the heads up

@@MidLifeRunner Anyway, I received my WRP2 yesterday. Thanks for the heads up. My local Mizuno rep. was even surprised for the price. I think TTS would be better fit for me but 1/2 up is OK as well. With slightly thicker socks it will be about the same.
