Bonjour je me demandais a quand en français? Merci
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын

This is a very impressive improvement! My first thought was the rear of the car might have had some more road film due to being the rear of the car but the hood demo dispelled that right away. They may have overstated some of the benefits of the newer model but they sure made some significant improvement in sheer volume and richness of foam!

My first cannon was the Griot's brilliant finish based on the last comparison video, but it never worked right, even right out of the box. All it would ever produce was soapy soup. I probably should have sent it back, but I replaced it with the MJJC v2, based on JoshV's claim that it was the best foam cannon he had ever used. It didn't disappoint. Good to see that it's a definite improvement over the v1 unit.

Hi Pan, the claims on the box are compared to the standard Foam Cannon S (not the S v3.0) and the standard Foam Cannon Classic. If you have the box of the Pro v1.0 yet, you’ll see the same claims. So the claims on the box of Pro v2.0 are the same as on the Pro v1.0. In the meantime, they’ve released an S v3.0 (not Pro v3.0), which costs the same and performs the same, but have a few differences (colour, the bottle etc.). Tested those compared to each other, in case you are interested. One more thing about the latest Pro v2.0 (which technically should be v2.1, as they’ve made changes to the original v2.0 also): They don’t include the metal mesh anymore, as according to MJJC, you don’t need the spare anymore, just need to run clean water through, when you finished using it. The Foam Cannon Pro is my absolute favourite for some time :) Thanks for the review ;)

The best just got better. Have both, always loved the V1 but the V2 is awesome. Used the MTM for a while, the small mouth was annoying, the metal top on the plastic bottle would constantly overscrew, and the foam quality was less consistent than the MJJC which gives thick, rich foam every single time. So I have the MJJC 2.0, The MTM &, I also have Adams standard foam cannon the first foam cannon that I purchased because I was cheap and I was first starting out. Now I use my MTM’s faithfully and I love it but my MJJC 2.0 needs new filters in less than a year. I know it has a different filter set up. Pan if you’re reading this, maybe you can do a filter change video for others to know because there is a difference. Just saying thank you again love your videos always 👍

The company raised the price by 10-12 US dollars since your videos. I don't know if it's worth it. I love my Griots foam cannon that I got on your recommendation!!

I haven't.
@cranfktubner7677 Жыл бұрын
Are v1 & v2 brand new? I wonder if there is some kind of maintenance to be done after some time using a foam cannon. Maybe that would explain some differences? Also the type of emulsifier?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Zero maintenance if you care for them. After using the foam cannons, I always flush them by putting just warm water in the container, and running it through for 30 seconds, to flush any potential soap residue out of the head. Let air dry, and you're done.

Ive got the Pro V2 but also the S V3.0, which i found the internals to be the same. At least you can see that they did make a change from V1 to V2 👍
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Yeah it seems to me that V2 vs the regular S V3 is mainly about the bottle difference.

@@PanTheOrganizer yeah definitely looks that way. Not sure why but I keep going back to the Pro V2 tbh.

Wich of the 4 you showed (forget mjjc v1) would you put as number one now ? In your last battle it was griots garage the number one but now ?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
The Griot's Garage is the best overall value yes. And would still win a comparison battle as I have to consider criteria that an average user would take into consideration. But my personal preference is still the MTM. If they make a wider mouth version, they'll have a product that nobody else can match.

I don't think the PF22.2 is the best tho. There is the griot's boss foam canon that it made off cnc stainless steel compares to cast brass for the MTM. There is also the metering ball in the Griots that gives an edge to the Boss. I have a pf22 and the tip turn too easily. Tried to rebuild it and didn't do Much 😢

Not sure if v1 has it since I don’t have one, but v2 has an inside thread under the cap that can also take standard size bottles like a 16oz bottle. Can you confirm if v1 has it also?
@kirillkozlovsky3944 Жыл бұрын
Hey Pan! Thanks for the great video, so appreciate it. In my opinion, its not enough to compare the foams. I think you missed the most important to compare. Which one cleans better??? Thicker foam doesnt mean it cleans better. Please next time take some dirty car and check it by washing after the foam.
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
We did not talk about cleaning, as that's not the purpose of the video. What does the cleaning is the snow foam, not the foam cannon lol. The foam cannon simply lays down a layer of foam. It doesn't matter if it's thicker or runnier if you're using the same snow foam. What matters for cleaning potential is the actual chemistry of the snow foam itself. And I already have plenty of videos on that topic.
@stephenlouden480 Жыл бұрын
they should've incorporated the top from the MJJC S V.3.0 that only needs a qtr turn to lock not really any threads to strip so it'll never break. that's the one I use. mjjc S v 3.0. I love it
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
I'm sure they'll come up with version 3.0 of the Foam Cannon Pro soon.
@peteraskerow Жыл бұрын
Hi Pan Great video as always,but just as a rank amateur I was just thinking isn't the whole purpose of using a foam cannon is to have the foam bind as much as possible with the dirt and run off ? If a contact wash is always necessary to get rid of the film of dirt anyway,what's the point of foam sitting on the surface? What's the point of foaming anyway? Initial rinse,contact wash seems more logical to me.
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
There’s a lot more to it. Here are a couple videos I made which should show you how snow foams can be very important as part of an effective pre-wash: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f2jdaZSgpM-FjKs kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpuYlX2Lgp15mJY

What I'd like to know is did the version 2 use more solution than version 1?

Nothing noticeable. They seem identical, but I didn’t do premcise measurements as I didn’t feel the need to, as I could coat a vehicle with the same amount of solution with both cannons and still have the usual amount left over.

Hi Pan - I had a major issue with my Griot's foam cannon (only sprayed water, the soap mix didn't come up the straw), so I'd rather buy next one in person. What is the best foam cannon that I can buy by walking into a store (Toronto)? Thanks in advance.
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
I don't buy my products and equipment in stores, as big box stores rarely have the enthusiast or pro grade stuff. I order online. Links in the description under each of my videos. Also, I don't know which store you shop in, and it might not mean we have the same stores in Quebec unfortunately. Ordering online not only gets you the best price, but the best selection as well and access to things not found in stores.

Hey Pan, I too have version 2 and I also have a 2nd foam canon for my break buster solution, the only thing is that I'm afraid that leaving break buster I'm the foam canon might damage the internals. Do you know 8f they make a cap for the Mjjc, that way I could protect the internals of my 2nd foam canon
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Leaving Brake Buster in the foam cannon is ok for up to a month, but I wouldn't go beyond that. I had a solution in my previous MTM foam cannon for many months, and it destroyed the foam cannon unfortunately. Ideally, once a month, empty the foam cannon, fill it with just warm water, and run the foam cannon for 30 seconds to flush out any chemical residue. Also, every time I use a foam cannon for snow foaming the car, I mix just the required amount for that wash, and after use I rinse the foam cannon as per above instructions, and let it air dry. Ready for next use.

Hey so i sent my car for paint correction and ceramic coating last year july…. Since then ive been pre washing and using 2 bucket t wash car… i even dry with leaf blower… but somehow there r still few micro scratches(swirl marks)…. It’s frustrating as i take about 3 hours t wash my car and i still get some swirl marks…. Are they 100% evitable?
@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
I don't have any swirls or scratches on my car, and I wash it twice weekly. So the answer is yes. I don't know exactly how you wash your car, and what microfiber wash mitt you use, but there was perhaps a small rock that got into the fibers and caused the micro swirls? Hard to say without actually being there to observe how you do your washing. But if you stand a few feet back and don't see those swirls, I wouldn't overthink the moment. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed, and I'm sure you already have a cleaner looking car than anyone on your street or neighbourhood. All the Pan The Organizer viewers are ahead of 99% of the population. ;)

@PanTheOrganizer Жыл бұрын
Perhaps it's clogged with chemical residue. Do you rinse the foam cannon after each use? It's super important. After each use, I rinse the container, and fill it with hot water, and run that through the pressure washer for 30 seconds, to flush everything out of the foam cannon body and filters. Then I let it air dry, and store it until its next use.
