Chicory is a flowering plant in the dandelion family that is characterized by a tough, hairy stem, light purple flowers and leaves that are commonly used in salads. Chicory coffee tastes similar to coffee but has a flavor that's often described as slightly woody and nutty. Nice song btw.

Chicory in salad!!!??? That, as an Italian is outrageous, to say the least! We cook it, duh!

This album made me buy the disco off bandcamp. I mean just wow. I know ppl love him for the funk stuff but the lyrical quality and diversity in the album is absolutely stunning. Bubinga is such an amazing tune, any vocalist would be dying to sing that one and it doesn't even get its own video! I hope this album blows up and does what Remarkably Human has done for Nick Johnston. This album is right up there with Remarkably Human as one of the most important in this decade. The textures and diversity is absolutely next level.

How to get that amazing drums sound? It's so nice
@JTonthedrums4 жыл бұрын
Great triggers or amazing sound replacement! LMBO!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist. All jokes aside, it's basically, just good tuning/heads/drums/room, great mic's/pre's/engineer, & a decent drummer that kind of knows what he or she's doing :-) Lol.... & you should be good to go. It's a process man.I'm still learning different things to try honestly, especially in the studio, which is a lot of fun actually. Every song & room has a sound. I basically just do whatever it takes to get a great sound that fits the song I'm recording. I'm not one of those "purest" guys who cringe at the mention of dampening or altering the "natural" sound of the kit. To me that's all a bunch of BS!! LOL!! That's like me telling Mark, "hey dude, you shouldn't use any pedals. Just plug and play" That's just dumb. Everyone uses tools/tricks/etc... to get "the sound" including the engineers. So drums are no exceptions. Thanks for the kind words my man. Appreciate that. Glad you're digging the sounds....
