Hey Mark….I just stumbled upon your You Tubing videos…..you guys absolutely kill it….Blockheads has such a deep pocketed groove..luv it…..Wes is so fun to watch, he’s one with his axe, like he’s takin her out for a night of dancing’. JT is sooooo smoothe, it’s so cool, his fills and riffs are clean and sterile, tasty, oh so good…..he doesn’t overplay, deep pockets are sweet, he just pumps out the glue to hold it all together and make it all sound good, he’s one of the few drummers that plays the drums like a tuned instrument that is the foundation of a great band, adds his part equally….nice stuff guys…..keep it crankin,…..thx for great music!

@mjlettieri5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The drums, bass, and some rhythm guitars (there are a few stacks) were recorded together. Melodies, solos, extra rhythm tracks, and synths were overdubbed. We shot with just two cameras to keep the shots tight on purpose. But everything that's filmed is a live take, no miming.

This is actually really good. When KZbin recommends a piece of music for me it's usually way off. I think I got this because of some of the players, lessons I've been watching. Guitar, bass and drums. I think I'm just getting old, and I've always been a snob. when I see someone playing a PRS it's an instant turn off. Maybe that's because I'm from Southern Maryland and the company is a point of pride for many. I've also known so many people who have worked for them over the decades. Or that the bass has too many strings :) This is so good though. Solid playing with zero wankery. Good composition. Reminds me of something right out of 1970s library music. If there was a track that had the tags: prog influenced, TV show soundtrack.It's like someone asked Fripp and Manzenera to do the theme to The Rockford Files, but he had a late 90s version of Crimson with him. I've listened to it 4 times in a row. Not one misstep in this. It's kind of perfect. Must explore more from this guy and this killer band.
@jankafka73305 жыл бұрын
"when I see someone playing a PRS it's an instant turn off" Seriously? That is one of the most absurd things I've been exposed to in a long time. And we're in the age of that absurd fat bastard Trump.
@ryanharrison37775 жыл бұрын
MisterNiles prs makes good stuff. It just so happens that a lot of people that own them are old dudes who can’t play them. They sound sick in the right hands.
@MisterNiles5 жыл бұрын
@@jankafka7330 I agree. It's fucking ridiculous. Completely absurd. I acknowledge that. I'm sure you have some silly biases too. Like I said. I live in Southern Md. I've been hearing the hype for so long, it drives me nuts. I personally think the guitars are okay, but I'd go for an old Yamaha (SG) or Ibanez professional if I wanted a Gibson-esqu guitar. If I cared about the way a guitar looked and wanted pretty wood. Try living in an area where people who worked for PRS at some point are all whispered about in hushed tones, even if they just sanded their arms off to get a PRS at cost. You might get annoyed and form a bias.
