Wow, MJ !!! This blanket is so beautiful and thank you so much for sharing the tutorial. I have a tons of colourful yarns that I bought years ago when I first started crocheting. I had bought all the colours in the rainbow only to realize that I would never ever wear yellows and reds and orange coloured cardigans, mittens or beanie caps. I wear mostly neutral and softer colours. And didn't know what to do with all those happy colourful yarns. This blanket is the perfect project and I think I have enough to make a King sized blanket to cover my bed 😊😊

Thanks for explaining the reason to use different size hooks for beginning. Nice to learn something new!! Your color choices are gorgeous! For a blanket, i never waste yarn on gauge swatches. For me, it's okay if the blanket is a little bigger or even a bit smaller. I also like to try and use up all the yarn rather than leave them. Making a blanket, ill work enough rows or border to be able to use as much of the yarn as possible. Any leftovers i will make corner tassels...

Beautiful project! Can't wait to create it! Just curious, how much of the colors did you have left over when the blanket was done? Wondering how many stockings I could make to go with it

Beautiful blanket! I'd love to make this in a baby blanket size. What number of foundation chains do you recommend stsrting with? And how many rows tall?
@DawnEllison17 күн бұрын
That looks awesome! Unfortunately I'm allergic to wool and don't have any bulky 5 yarn could I size down a hook size and work it in a 4 weight acrylic? I'm making Christmas blankets for family members and I have two that require two colors. I don't want to do a granny stripe or square unless I really have to. I think this stitch would be great for at least one of them.

Yes! Since it’s a blanket it’s very easy to alter if needed.

Hey I really like your stuff. You are soo talented, so for this throw can you use regular yarn also and is the moss stitch only single stitches or can you use doubles also?
