I remember playing this in coop with my little brother. I hated the shared healthbar, cause if one of us died, usually the other one could clutch the win, but not here. And I wish we had half the kinda teamwork you two have lol.

Usually, I would play Scorpion and Combo Stack Exp Farm the 2x Oni(s) because they spawn infinitely at a fast rate. It's about 5 to 15 minutes to unlock Scorpion's abilities. If only the other playable characters in Verses Mode was playable in the Story Mode, and I still need Ermac for PvP. Although, MKSM PvP is not balanced at all with the occasional Spike Glitch with Kong Lau which deals near 100% damage extremely fast after his Lv1 Standard or Bouncing Hat catches the enemy player.

Any chance of nether realm studios releasing the 3-D Mortal Kombat in a collection from Mortal Kombat four and so whatever was before Mortal Kombat nine I honestly don’t know what happened until then I honestly stop playing the game after part four but purple was actually pretty good for three Mortal Kombat game I remember when you would get to a point where you would like basically infinite your opponent I believe it was a sector or some thing that he could have like an infinite upper cut it and like the game would basically tell you stop trying to stop hitting me up on it does not do any more damage it was so funny I love that game oh

For the mashing parts I just used to slide my thumb with a piece of cloth throught the 4 "action" buttoms; you guys probably know what I'm talking about. Is it banned from speedruns? Because if not so, wouldn't it save a little bit of time?

Finally got around to watching this, very impressive run, nice job! About the spear glitch, you said it happens most of the time but for me and my brother it usually doesn't happen at all. The only difference I can think of besides the characters we use, is that we stand away from the middle where the spear hits and then we run into it and press R2. Maybe you can try that instead of standing in the middle blocking and see if that makes any difference, assuming you haven't tried that already. By the way, do you happen to know what causes the game to sometimes crash on the cutscene after killing Kintaro? I don't have that problem on my single player Liu Kang run, but the two any% single player real hardware runs on speedrun com have to save and quit before the fight to avoid it, while none of the emulator runs have that problem. Is it an emulator vs real console thing? But the crash does still happen in our liu and kung coop runs even though it doesn't on my single player run, both on real hardware. I dunno, confusing stuff. Anyways like I said this is really impressive, you've really pushed the run a huge amount compared to your previous PB on the leaderboards. I hope you make it into a marathon, that will be fun to watch.

I you have a decent computer, you can use PCSX2 and a copy of the game. Sadly, it wasn't ported to any Pc platform.

I think there's some old twitch vods, but essentially it warps you back to the first TYM level. You can use it to offmap though and it's super weird. I'd love to experiment with it.

Scorpion and Sub have the best synergy in Koop. Scorpion has the raw damage and sub has the vital utility.
