Awe Jamie been watching your build just a heads up, I also have a similar build rather use 1.8 clutch + fly wheel the 2.0 assembly is heavy will cause loss in power, what cam & management you looking at I have dictator std management on my car for almost 10 years now issues + I have estas 276 cam highly recommended for these motors enjoy the build bud 🤟

Hi boss I am running the same setup on my mk1 but I put the velocity dash and loom in my car so I am not using management bru the normal ecu Ecu is a open box

Thanks for that bud 🙏🏻 I’ve got the 2.0 assembly in already so don’t really want to swap it out now 😂 we’ll see what power it makes and then make adjustments from there. I’m still deciding between dictator and spitronics for the management and got myself an estas 288 cam

Black metal plate, wont work by cambelt side...use the 2l one and cut holes for what is needed...2l long block, golf short block...whole on top where 8mm treaded bolt goes through into head will be off and wont fit if you dont use the 2l plate

Hi Rodwin. It’s glue devil that I used, and got it at diesel electric. But you should be able to get it at most automotive shops

Zee M5 i got my oil pressure sender unit at Midas with the oil temperature unit. My gauges did not want to work either but then i realised i need to earth them inside the car. After that they are working perfect. I used auto gauges i like their look better.
