This video gave me hope for mk1. I was losing hope and not sure what to do. But hearing the voice actress for Jade and you talk so positively about MK1 gave me hope again for this franchise

Also I shared since you mentioned it my brother can't play mk1 with me because he doesn't have a new console since you mentioned that and it was something we (me and my brother) talked about today when he was here he wants to be able to play from his house with me but he doesn't have money for a new console, I'm gonna save up and help him with that.

This gives me a Bit of Hope, I’m still what a KP3 and Another Story Expansion at least as a One Final Horaaa and Farewell for MK1, it’s highly likely that because of People not having the Next Gen Consoles it might be one of the Reasons it didn’t sold well but it’s still a Success as WB wouldn’t have said that Mortal Kombat wasn’t one of the Games they were going to release going forward, and I feel like NRS can’t say if the Game is Cancelled or Not do to Strict Dilemmas with WB and even if they did give us answers, no matter what they said it’s not gonna change things, hell there’s Fans who said that MK1 is Dead ever since of the Games Released, still the Franchise is too Large to Die, even if they said it ruined the Game we are still going to be there, even me who will never defend MK11 with the Issues it has, I’m in somewhat in Peace with it because of MK1, I’m still don’t want Injustice 3 as I don’t want to see Evil Superman again and because of SSKTJL, I don’t think WB want to make that same mistake again

@@featherguardian6023 You have a strong point here I highly agree with. I see some comments elsewhere say this is it not just for MK1 but MK in general, and that is that it's over after this. I'm like, no way they really think that... MK has had its dips but its always swam with triple AAA games. I think some younger folk are joining the scene that don't know its history, making comments that MK11 made it popular? I know MK11 did great but MK has been a house hold name for so long I just strongly disagree with anyone who says MK as a whole is done in general after MK1 now. I agree, the franchise is to large to die. Even if a large wave of casuals parted ways there are still many serious fans and others who have been out some time that will return to Mortal Kombat. Especially with a new movie coming up to attract more attention.

That meme pops in my head at the hanging ropes "first time?". We've seen MK have way worse sales, and lose a parent company. It's actually grown a lot more since those days. Haha yeah it's obvious these people on here as you pointed out who literally make $ off of just hating on MK know how big MK is deep down otherwise they wouldn't invest so much time and effort into it. Guys like Fate Smite Thee or whatever his name is lol and that 4thsnake dude etc, etc you know the types. What's also annoying are some of these guys one second they're on MK 1 with new news pretending to be a true fan, the next "making an MK 1 dead!, The end of MK Forever?!" Video lol like do they just jump on the bandwagon of whichever way the wind's blowing that day or what? haha Oh totally agree, I mean everytime MK will have a disappointing game or not break records sales wise people think "OMG that's it for MK, MK is dead!" Then get proved wrong when the next game hits. We've seen this with MK4, then MK vs DCU. It would surprise me if the next MK fighting game doesn't do the same, I suspect they'll go back to basics something similar to MK9 if NRS were smart, whatever gimmicky modes ie variations, kameos etc they want to bring back they need to make it optional while keeping the traditional element back much like MK9 did, updated but oldschool and with modern graphics, story etc and the MK9 and MK X online modes, bring back the krypt for everything to unlock and they'll be good to go. Perhaps just have Kombat League for badges or the warrior shrine top 5 players but not hiding gear and exclusive skins behind it and they're good to go.👍 Plus MK has proven to do pretty well with their side games and side modes within their base games, I think they need to explore that more. I'd love to see an MK beat em up!

Jade, Kabal, Nightwolf, Sylvester Stallone’s Cobra, Michael Myers, Art The Clown, Jigsaw, and Tiffany are not coming to Mortal Kombat 1 as DLC Returning character, guest characters, and DLC guest kameos at all because they just don’t belong in the game. Besides, there is no Kombat Pack 3. But we’re getting Chucky as a kameo.

omg its so cool to see that you made a whole video about the topic! honestly i am trying really hard not to huff too much copium bc i dont want to disapppoint myself if im wrong but imo i feel like the whole fate unknown + other leakers thing was times way too perfectly to be real. like we got ghostface literally three days or so before all of that. but at the same time with ghostface's arrival we got those 8 blank slots interloko found. not saying those 8 slots are a promise of course since nothing was officially announced but literally when would they have had the time to make the decision that kp3 was cancelled between when ghostface dropped and when the leaks got out? wouldnt they just not have added in those blank slots to begin with then? especially since interloko was able to determine that a good number of them could potentially be main roster spots. idk. i feel like that timeline doesnt line up for it to make sense. especially also when you take into consideration that the leaks came out JUST before black friday when the game would be on sale. maybe wb knew people would freak out and mass buy the game/kp2 and artificially cause sales to spike for that reason? idk. i can def believe kp2 sold poorly, but at the same time this also feels like a stunt to make more money too. or maybe idk what im talking about lol thats a possibility too

The game miss some futures like rooms or practice during finding a match but it has to effect on how good the gameplay is as an online player i love this game and i will say this game has the best gameplay for playing like a pro and not spam stuff like jumping poking or maybe random down2 or fatal blows like we had in mk11

@@dieshadow4861yes! Agreed. This game nails it on kombat. I love the fighting, but man out of all the MK titles to drop the ball on features its sad this is the one to not get practice rooms/lobbies. I really wish it had more to offer like that because for those who didn't give it the chance because of certain kontent missing it leads to them sleeping on how fun the game is when fighting players (if they're into fighting players).

Truly it has to be doing well maybe not selling as much as they WANT maybe could have had more time to cook and hash out bugs and mechanics, but if it was truly doing so poor why would they set it up for future projects? Especially if "no one" wants MK right now.... 🤷🏻 I am sad to see them want to move on to the next MK project what feels so soon especially since I went out of my way and bought the Collectors edition, I bought the DLC packs at their peek thinking "I wanna support MK" and then they say they are moving on 💔🥀 It sucks for so many reasons I debated with myself HARD "should I spend the money?" Already struggling and they wanna cut it off 💀 Ive been a big MK fan for almost 30 years now I hope Ed is OK

I think Jade could just be a simple reskin for Tanya. Though Tanya has a lot of moves similar to Jade in M1K, she also lacks some like the projectile invincibility or the shadow kick. 💚💜
