I'm glad you typed that all I'll share that if someday I can get Netherealm studios under my control and give mk a true MK1 reboot I fully wrote a storyline for Khrome himself using another character to eventually become him and be a way better character cannot share who but just know it plays a very big role in my MK true reboot series and does pay heavy respects to what old mk games used to be like

@@Odinfang I can kind of see him as a being created at the end of a fight between the Lin Kuei, Quan Chi and Shang Tsung like an AI created by Sektor merges with a few souls, dead ninja and other stuff Chrome rises out of the ground presents himself as an ally to Saibot and Sektor viewing Sektor as his mother but quickly develops an Oedipus complex over the story ultimately betraying them and proving he's more unhinged than Bi Han.

I’d much preferred to have had Khrome over the T-1000 too! I personally hate guest characters who are just taking the places of other MK characters or even a new character like Harumi for example. Harumi has been in MK lore/backstory for at least 30yrs and I was so excited to see her in action in the story mode it’s just a shame they didn’t add her as a fully playable character which I wanted, I mean come on NRS if not as a fully playable character then at least as kameo character.

My head cannon for Khrome is.. he was created by Sektor as a unstoppable force to hunt down Kuai Lang and stop him from taking over the Lin Quay (to restore their honour) But Khrome goes rogue and turns on not only Sektor but anyone who gets in his way! Giving the T-1000 a khrome ninja skin would be pretty sick! 🐉

I got one too, Khrome is a outcast from the Lin Kuei, for being to ambitious like how Bi Han was except being far more radical for the grandmaster's liking. He founds the Tengu clan from Mortal Kombat Armageddon with the goal of getting revenge on, and ultimately supplanting the Lin Kuei as the assassin clan of Earthrealm.

I always envisioned both Floyd and chrome being mortal enemies like Scorpion and Sub-Zero and with their power sets I think it makes a lot of sense it's sort of natural versus unnatural

It seems I’m not the only person who would’ve loved to have Khrome over the T-1000 in MK One! I always wanted to see Harumi be a fully playable character too, after all these years of her being part of the game’s lore as Scorpion’s wife who was killed I was really excited to see her in action in the Khaos Reigns story. At least we could’ve had her as a kameo character but I would’ve loved to have her as a fully playable character. I’ve really enjoyed MK One especially the new designs of General Shao, Noob Saibot and Ermac my 3 favourite characters (in the order of how I wrote them down i.e Shao #1 & Ermac #3) and I wish that NRS didn’t cancel the future Kombat packs and the second story extension, they could’ve still released Kombat pack 3 giving us some more MK characters like Harumi, Tremor, Jade and Shinnok as playable characters as beside Armageddon Shinnok has never been in the same game as Shao Kahn/General Shao as I’d loved to have seen what a redesigned Shinnok would be like as well as his story going up against General Shao with his battle axe which I love as I never was keen on his wrath hammer (even though Shao has been my favourite character since MK 2) and I love that General Shao now has horns which I loved the first time I saw them, when I heard that they were redesigning Shao Kahn I thought well nothing will top his MK11 design which I loved especially the spikes coming out of his left forearm (which I wished General Shao had) and his talon like fingernails but they did it and gave him a better move set, special moves and fatalities. Same goes for Noob Saibot and Ermac, I loved MK11’s Noob Saibot but he looks better in MK One especially with my favourite mask design with great special moves and as usual has best fatalities. And to top it off Noob Saibot was a badass in the story mode instead of being a jobber like in MK9 & MK11 where he was beat by everyone he fought. I liked the designs of Ermac in MKX but in MK One once again he looks better too not to mention his move set and special moves where you see demon spirits which just look amazing, his fatalities are as good as Noob Saibot or General Shao’s fatalities but they’re still ok.

I don’t think it’s a legal issue stemming from the fact that Warner Brothers would have the licensing for him regardless and any third-party trying to make claim to the name would have an uphill battle especially if they are naming a character who isn’t far removed from the designs of the other ninjas.

I imagine Khrome as a Venom-like symbiotic organism that dwells in Blue Cobalt Mines. Yes, the location debuted in non-canonical Conquest series yet it was also mentioned in MK4 Prequel Comic. Also, prison-like mines is where Quan Chi comes from in MK1. Khrome would be a non-organic being that fused with one of the prisoners who lost his both arms and legs and was left to rot. Khrome made new metallic arms and legs for his victim but also took over his mind. I imagine MKT/MK4 side-story where a general from Edenian Resistance who got captured and imprisoned in the Mines, comes back to Edenia with an army of loyalists he made and tries to overthrow Sindel who in his eyes never fought Shao Kahn but submitted to his will and then killed herself leaving her people and infant daughter Kitana to Shao Kahn's mercy. Actually, he has a point... Khrome as a creature from the Mines would be his sort of second in command. Or Khrome could be secretly a traitor who just wanted to escape Mines and cause havoc across the Realms simply because he can. In terms of main events, I guess he could play a role in Deception as he remembers Onaga and either tries to kill him again himself or joins his side as one of many enforcers.

The thing is no one owns Khrome, the design you can always change, no one owns his powers, and if they are scared to add him because of his name, then change it to Metallica or better yet give us a metal ninja called Mercury referencing Freddie Mercury. They have the power and ability to add Khrome and they know this but maybe I’m giving them to much praise, these are the same people that added Mileena to MK11 after constant spam tweet replies and death threats. So if NRS wanna do that instead of adding Khrome then I’m at a loss for words

Khrome is a technomancer but because of the technological advancement in the the universe he can only manipulate metals and minor bioelectricity. Think Tremor meets Magneto. Or Toph meets the T1000. His origin can be simple. He was the first test for the cyber initiative it failed granting him said abilities. These are just my opinions 😅

Khrome would be a fun dlc character and just that. I think he would be to OP to be in MK canon. Who is going to be the next big bad of MK? Are we going to get full powered Shao Kahn next or Onaga, or a Shao who absorbs Onagas power, or maybe something entirely new. C'mon Hornbuckle🤞😂.. we need you now more than ever.

Khrome was a name that the community agreed on because it happens to be the name of a metal of the same color that starts with "c" and we all know in the universe of MK that everyone spells everything that starts with "c" with a "k" instead.

Im pretty sure Khrome was created by a guy on MKO (mortal kombat online) with the username: Khrome back in the mid 2000's. I was RUFIX on that website back in the day & that dude would always ask artists to draw his OC, Khrome, all the time. They used to have Kreate a Kharacter tournaments where you enter your OC & the community would vote for who'd be the last one standing. That guy Khrome would always enter his OC Khrome in those tournaments. He always tried to make Khrome a thing all the time.

I mean. I came up with a way too make him work. But I don't work for neatherrealm. But I obviously went a head and done both male and female variations too go along with a dlc idea as well. But. Simple. Take the molten liquid metal from the beginning of Johnny story. Dump it in a landfill or disposal site that also has radiation or radioactive material in as well as human body part or remains or like those stupid but classic science skeleton dummy things. An because of the radioactive material. An maybe some random ass magic artifact. A male and female khrome are born. With having zero ties too anyone or any faction in universe. They are able too be there own characters as a whole. Learning all of humanity greats hits and fuck ups since lui-kane restarted the universe. Khrome during rhe day time is a cop who fell into such a job and hiding his abilities. Aka being the T-1000. But at night. He is an assassin for hire sporting his original ninja look. But eventually gets caught by someone who is use too the unknown and could deduce that he was created by magic or something and ends up being hunted down by the lin-kui,shry-riu,or lui-kane. While the female version chrome. By day a teacher or a something figure of importance that can relay information too khrome so he can complete his tasks. An at night has a more female ninja look which I don't know what it would be in all honesty an ends up in the same boat as khrome being hunted down because someone figured out what she actually is and could be very useful. But both end up being part of the scorpions clan. (Yes I know I probably miss spelled it earlier.) But a group adjacent too that clan being made up more of the gender bent female ninjas introduced in the closing moments of mk1. While also being able too make as part of that clan. Floyd and hydro. An be able too bring back the male chameleon along with frost and both version skarlet having both mk9 and mk11 skarlet be sisters. An the idea stems from. Scorpion and sub-zero/noob are mro focused and fighting each other. So why not make a whole new clan related too scorpions but is actually willing too defend earth realm and focuses on that while the two clans are trying too end one another.

I'd like to see an orange ninja. Some say orange has been done before as an alt for Scorpion during mirror matches in the OG games. But I want orange to be its own character separate from Scorpion. And I have a deep-cut idea for who this orange ninja could be. In the Konquest mode in MK Armageddon, you fight an orange-clad ninja clan called the Tengu who's got an uneasy alliance with the Lin Kuei. Have this orange ninja be from the Tengu clan. As for powers and abilities, I'm not sure yet. And a name? I was thinking Hollow. As a reference to Holloween since orange is a color heavily associated with that holiday.

We just have to wait and see what Ed Boon thinks about Khrome for the next Mortal Kombat game (MK13) or not. If Ed Boon now talks about this Pink Ninja, it is likely we will see him in the next MK game maybe.

So it’s a licensing issue. Makes a lot of sense really. Most things are an issue of getting the rights and T-1000 is certainly a lot less complicated to acquire. Love the video, wish more people would’ve watched the entire vid before commenting though, but algorithm engagement yeah?

I love terminator 2 but the guest character kinda lose their appeal after a while and you cant bring them back so it'd be cooler if they made something new so they can keep referencing it

Khrome may never be in an MK game. I would like for him to be a reality. But I don’t think Ed Boon or the NRS team can or will ever make him a playable character. Due to the legal issues, he will only ever be a cameo in the background.

First of MKX came in 2015, NOT 2014, anyway I thought that it could be possible to have Khrome in the Franchise but do to Legal Issues and the Creator being a confirmed Racist, I don’t think it’s possible, especially when we have Smoke into the Mix as a Grey Ninja with Silvel Colors, however I’m happy with the T-1000 appearing in MK1 as a Test Run and a Nostalgic Route, I can see a Metalmance appearing in the Future, maybe a Tarkatan with Liquid Metal Manipulation, do more videos on these.

I command you for the research but I am really glad that they never used this fake ninja. It's a very obvious T-1000 rip off, and it resembles those mugen characters due to it's simplicity. It's surprising to see fans want a rip off over the real deal. Khrome is basically Sonichu.
